Slade Ravinger Novels & Stories

My heart pounded, a mix of fear and anger coursing through me. The door creaked open suddenly, and I froze. A tall, broad-shouldered figure stepped inside. As he approached, the dim light illuminated his face, and I felt my blood run cold. Alpha Slade. His reputation preceded him - a ruthless leader of the Dark Ridge Pack, known for his cunningness and cruelty. His smile was sinister as he walked closer, his sharp eyes studying me like a predator sizing up its prey. "Well, well," he said, his voice low and mocking. "So it's true what they say. You're the spitting image of the late Luna of Blue Moon Pack."

“Me.” I stare after him, angry, confused and weirdly hurt. What the hell does that even mean? What else is there to protect me from? I already know he’s a werewolf. What secrets is he hiding? Later, near the end of my shift, I find Slade near the supply wing arguing with two guards about security rotations. He notices me immediately. “You look murderous.” I smile “I’m considering it.” He runs his hand through his head in frustration. “Fair.” I cross my arms. “Can I ask you something? Salvatore keeps doing this thing where he almost lets me in and then immediately pushes me away.”

One of them shoved a rag into my mouth, the taste of oil and dirt making me gag as rope dug into my wrists like bites, pricking at it. Just as I thought I was about to be forced to my knees, there was a loud bang that startled everyone. Everyone froze. “Open. The. Fucking. Door,” a voice snarled from outside, deep and trembling. My heart stopped. “Or consider your deal,” the voice growled again, darker now, “called off.” Slade. Slade was here.

“Slade, let me tell you, I'm your karma. If you don't sign the disownment papers fast and renounce your parental rights, I will even bring people here for threesomes and orgies.” “You!” I quickly dragged him back, blinking rapidly, signalling him to stop talking. Slade gritted his teeth, jaw ticking. Soon, sounds of teeth scraping against teeth filled the sitting room, then that of my fast panicked breaths. At the side, Mrs Baker whimpered, terrified out of her mind. Slade hated being challenged and defied the most. He appeared murderous. The stick dropped from his hand, making a clattering sound against the floor. He gasped, veins drawn taut across his face and neck, red capillaries visible

No one dare to stop me. “You fucking whore, scream more, scream!” Slade said while holding Danna’s neck. She laughs maliciously and we scared everyone. This is my dark side. The demon inside of me. The first wolf created by the moon Goddess who doesn’t possessed a human mind. I, myself can’t even think straight. Slade is controlling my mind too. All I’m thinking right now is to kill this girl, who cause so much pain to me. “I’m sorry! I’m just kidding. I just want to provoke you so can’t think straight and we can have upper hand in the fight. I won’t do it again.” Danna explained while crying in front of me.

Which he did. It was silly of them, two 16 years old’s acting like adults. Defying their fates, venturing out on their own. “How was your day?” Dragomir interrupted her thoughts. Atarah blinked twice, trying to remember his question, and then got annoyed. “You stabbed me.” He chuckled, “ you would have done the same.” He shrugged and got up, putting on his robe. “until next time, your highness,” he smiled from the shadows of his hood.

When Slade got close, he saw Evelyn being pressed by Jasper whose eyes were scarlet. Slade was furious! “Dad, save me. Jasper has been poisoned by Cedrick and Catelyn! They want to hurt me!” “Don’t worry. I will...” Before Slade finished speaking, he suddenly smelled a stink. He felt sick and covered his mouth and nose. They looked in the direction where the stink was from and saw that Jasper was... One of Slade’s right-hand men thundered, “Jasper, it’s Miss Swan! How dare you? You’re dead meat!”

“You know what you can not do? You can not force me to marry a man who ripped away my heart and pissed on it. You promised me forever then told me to leave the next day after I was nearly killed. You can not play with my feelings. You can not just use me because you can. While you were fucking your wife, do you know what I was doing? I was worried and stressed, trying to find a way to get back to you. I could barely even eat because I missed you. I couldn’t sleep. And when I missed my period you weren't there. When I did find money to leave I was puking my lungs out in the bus for two days because your baby suddenly hates motion. But I pushed on because all that mattered was getting to you.

Slade, my ever-annoying wolf, was relentless, his growls and demands echoing through my thoughts like thunder. “Avery!” he growled for what felt like the hundredth time, his tone dripping with frustration. I rolled my eyes, crossing my arms over my chest. “And who’s that?” I muttered, annoyed. “I don’t know anyone by that name.” “You fool!” Slade snapped, his voice sharp and condescending. “Humans! What did I expect from you? No memory, no intuition. Absolutely useless.” “Careful,” I shot back, feeling my irritation spike. “You’re pushing it, Slade.”

Slade said and I put my hand on his shoulder as his whole body shook. “Calm down, I took care of him,” I said. “If he so much as looks at Harper again, I’ll end him,” Slade said, his eyes burning with hatred. “Take a deep breath there, killer, we can’t go around killing future Alphas,” Leon said. “I’m not stupid, Leon, but he’ll screw up again,” Slade said.
