Immediately after that, he angrily yelled, “I’m going to beat you to a pulp!” With that, Harvey swung a ferocious punch directly at Adrian’s face. Yet, Adrian ended up giving him a slap across the face before his punch even connected, causing a resounding “smack!” A huge round of applause shortly followed the crowd’s shock. Harvey groaned in pain and almost lost his footing from that single slap.

Then he laughed. “Hahahahhah what a damn old stupid drunken joke” Laughed out loud. Laughing so hard, men nearby turned to stare. “You?” he said between chuckles. “What are you here for? To seduce my men? Steal their little wages with your cheap dress and desperate face?” The laughter spread. A chorus of cruel amusement. Something inside me snapped. Before I could think, my hand whipped across his face. “Tar !” Slap. The sound echoed louder than the laughter.

The comment sent us into fits of laughter, the absurdity of the comparison too delightful to resist. Peter, in mock indignation, seized Neil and began tickling him mercilessly. Neil's laughter quickly became uncontrollable, and he begged for mercy as we watched with amused smiles. The laughter and playful banter provided a welcome escape from our real-world troubles, allowing us to savor a rare moment of lightheartedness and joy.

She looked like she might shatter if someone spoke too loudly near her. I laughed. Not quietly. Not politely. “Hahaha—” Stephen suddenly laughed in anger. After a few laughs, he raised his hand and slapped himself hard. Smack! Once. Smack! Twice.
