Slender Man Book Novels & Stories

He looked like a character from a spy novel, and Anne and Tris exchanged a curious glance. "Can I help you?" Tris asked, trying to sound friendly and welcoming. The man smiled, his lips curling up in a sly grin. "I'm looking for a book," he said, his voice low and smooth. "A very special book. It's not on the shelves, I'm told." Anne and Tris exchanged a skeptical glance. What kind of book could this man be looking for? "What's the title of the book?" Tris asked, trying to sound neutral.

AVA’S POV After the grand walk-in of those men in tailored suits with their leader, Vincenzo, who had me on chokehold, not because of his handsomeness, but because of the aura emitting from him, everything changed. It screamed danger so much that ice slashed down my spine at any given chance. And his soulless eyes? It was everything I wasn’t. Cold. Calm. Domineering. Dark and menacing. I almost melted under his scrutinizing gaze and the second he turned on his heels and disappeared down the hallway, I was finally able to breathe again.

But she… didn’t flinch. Lena walked over to a little table display and picked up a thin, cloth-bound book. She walked over to him, holding it out like an offering. *The Quiet Between Lightning Strikes.* A poetry book. The cover was old and nubbly, the title scribbled in fine silver ink. Julian stared at it like it was an alien thing. "What's this?" "A book," she said, smiling. "I told you. I don't—"

If I were him, I would have cut off anyone’s tongue that spewed such nonsense about my sister. “Do you know what a slut is?” Before she could speak, I mumbled, “You’re not a slut. For obvious reasons, the meaning stands for me.” “You’re calling yourself a manwhore?” I tilted my head and raised a brow and she snorted. “That doesn’t make me feel better.”

If the candle does not flicker, start over. Jennifer left Ellen’s feeling safe. She went home and was sitting in the study reading a book. The wind started blowing hard. The rain was pounding on the tin roof and the thunder was shaking the windowpanes. She heard a glass scatter on the floor. When she turned around, a picture of herself had fallen off the mantle and broken. She reached down to pick up the glass from the floor and her finger started bleeding. As she walked across the floor to put the glass in the trash, the floor began to shake. She immediately went to the bedroom and light the candle and stood looking into the mirror. The candle blew out. She was consumed with fear. The rever

“Don't kill me.” Nobody answered. The car continued speeding toward the river. I struggled against the ropes until my wrists burned.. Then the man beside me reached into his pocket… He pulled out a white handkerchief. My eyes widened as he pressed it firmly over my nose and mouth. I screamed into the cloth and thrashed violently, kicking and wriggling. I tried to breathe through my mouth, but the strange chemical smell filled my lungs. My strength began disappearing. The world around me blurred. The last thing I saw was the road rushing past the window. Then everything went black.

I turned the handle. The room was dim. Shadows everywhere. Soft light that didn’t quite reach the corners. The air smelled warm and clean—leather, maybe, mixed with something masculine. Before I could take another step, a voice cut through the silence. Deep. Slow. Certain. “Close the door.” A shiver ran straight down my spine. I obeyed without thinking, gently pushing the door shut behind me. The click felt final. “Take off your clothes.” The command wasn’t loud, but it didn’t need to be. It filled the room. My heart pounded as my fantasy stepped out of my head and into reality, familiar and terrifying all at once.

She was holding a book in her hands, the same book from Gonzalo’s office—the one with the faded cover and the strange title. As she opened the book, the words seemed to shift, rearranging as if they were alive, just waiting for her to read them. Before she could focus, a figure appeared beside her. A man. His smile was wide as if his joy was uncontainable. But despite the smile, something was unsettling about him. His eyes didn’t match the expression on his face. They were cold and empty. Yet, there was something in his gaze that Eliana couldn’t look away from.

The second piece was just the same as the first, but adding more detail and background after they viewed their mistakes in the first. "Taking both of these." Ren rolled them up. "I take it as an illustration of your old home?" Two gave him a sad nod. "Hmm, ok. Come along now." Ren pulled the book to him and started to read as they walked. They made it out of the courtyard when Zero and Three ran up. "Can we come as well, Master?" Zero asked. Three just looked on excitied.

It was the slenderman! His mind shouted at him. It was standing behind a tree initially, but suddenly scooted closer and stopped just a meter away from Ricky. Again, he assumed his stance while closing his eyes, expecting the slenderman to brainwash him. Instead of performing its usual inuendos of kidnapping a kid or hypnotizing an adult, it took out three books out of nowhere and handed it to Ricky. Ricky reluctantly accepted the book, and looked up when he saw the slenderman trying to tell him something by its gestures.
