she roared, staff spinning, striking again, ribs snapping under the blow. He was about speaking when we heard a loud voice boom through the tunnels, not from a person but from a speaker mounted in a drone. “Subject 0-9. Roxy of the Silver Willow.Your sanctuary is revoked. The Council has authorized your termination. Surrender now, and your companion will be spared.” I looked at Jax. He looked at me, his amber eyes wide with terrifying realization. “Roxy, who the hell are you?” jax whispered. Before I could answer the tunnel behind us exploded in a flash of white light and a voice filled with sickeningly familiar cruelty called from the shadows.

She prayed he would recover. Shane woke up a week later on a make shift bed. His shirt was gone and he felt the bandge on his side. He sat up and looked around at the shelter he was in and noticed the small fire outside. He carefully crawled out, pressing his hand to his side. He stood for a moment and tried to get his legs steady. He swung around faster than he shoudlve as he heard a gasp behind him. What he saw shocked him. He wondered what his bandge was made from but seeing Kiera's sleeves torn answered that. Kiera put the firewood down and walked over to him. She suprised them both by hugging him.

Redhead introduced, nodding towards the brunette. "And I know you are the infamous Trevor Saint Williamson," Tricia added with a giggle. Trevor grinned as she emphasised his name. He wasn't surprised she had recognised him right away. Most people knew who he was due to him being constantly in the media, whilst only a few knew he was the owner of the clubhouse. "It's a pleasure to be finally this close to you." Tricia grinned, then nudged Lauren, who was staring at the dancefloor. After he bored her to death with his rambling, she walks out on him threatening to kill him next time he approach her. On her way outside the tavern, a strange man with a scar on his face wearing an ash coat and cigarettes in his hands, stands before her “Step aside, miscreant” she scowls “My name is Shane. Leader of the Hunters” “What does the leader of an organization of mercenaries want with me?”

“You did well to endure everything, Steph. Think about all your sacrifices. If you want to soar higher, let go of all those heavy feelings you’ve been keeping. I know, it's not easy to take this path. But we’re doing this because we want it, right?” He embraces her, hoping his warmth could at least soften her stoned heart. He should be hating her for what she did but Shane couldn’t. The actor once adored her too. “Listen to me, Steph. All your sacrifices will be in vain when the truth is found. Don’t dig deeper in the dark,” Shane said.
