Slumber Party Everyone was gathered in the living room of Count Chaol's castle. Seated on their respective places, each one of them listened to the mighty Yvonne as he proceeds to clear her throat. "Alright. Listen up, everyone. I have gathered you this evening for a gaudemus news. Today, marks Asty's 29th day with us, and thus I want to announce that today we will be having what humans usually call... a slumber party!"

Sabrina jolted awake, her heart racing with a raucous laugh echoing down from downstairs. It was 1:00 AM by the clock on her nightstand, and something was creating an unsettling knot in her stomach. That kind of laughter made her skin crawl, an unsettling mix of joy and something darker. She crawled out of bed and rubbed her eyes for the sleep as she took steps one by one, with each one becoming a source of tension leading up to herself.

After the movie Holly went to her room and began plotting her escape for tomorrow’s party. She had done this a few times already and had a good idea of what needed to happen. First, she would leave the house at around 8pm. Meet up with her girlfriends, eat, gossip and start pre-drinking. After that it was time for her to get back home. As long as she was in the house before 12, everything would seem normal to her dad. He himself usually went to bed at around that time. At around 12:30, Holly would climb out of her window and escape to the party...

"Let's go upstairs, your living room is creepy and soon I'll become five years old again like you, and I'll be afraid of darkness too." Gigi took Liz's hand and she guided her to her room. She wasn't scared anymore; she could never be scared around Liz. Gigi's room was softly illuminated by the moonlight so they could see each other's faces and Liz wasn't planning on turning the light on her phone off, she was enjoying her view. With that, I escorted them up to the fourth floor. After they chose their bed, I turned and left. From this point forward, they were on their own. … Dawn was just beginning to break the next morning when terrified screams shattered the silence. Without wasting a moment, I ran to the dormitory to check. As soon as I opened the door, a dark liquid came streaming out. Inside the room, streaks of blood covered every inch of the floor. Charlotte stood frozen in place, her eyes locked on the bed across from her.

Maddy and I are sleeping soundly when all of the sudden Ant jumps in the bed between us. "Morning bitches!!" he sounds chipper, "Wakey wakey eggs and bakey!!" We are startled awake and completely dazed. "What the fuck?!?!" I say as I almost fall off the side of my bed "Get up. It's adventure time!" Ant is using his body to make the bed bounce while laughing. "Who the fuck let you in my house?" I ask pissed off as I look at the time on my pager. "And why did they let you in at five fucking thirty?"

I said, finally managing a smile. “Make sure you knock three times,” Ash informs me almost immediately, as if the world would end if I knocked once or twice. But who the hell knocks once? “Oooh, and we can have slumber parties,” Perry squeals with excitement. Ash and I exchanged looks. “I get kinda sad sleeping all alone in that oversized room, you could fit a damn mall with how humongous it is for each candidate alone,” she complained, and let out a huff, before flashing both of us her big, doe eyes.

I woke a few hours later to the theme song for Adventure Hour. It startled me. Everything felt too loud, too much. Groaning, I lifted my head from where I’d slumped down onto the couch. I tried to remember falling asleep, tried to remember how I’d gotten into Bratt’s house again. The details came back to me in a slow drip, my brain booting up after the stressful evening. I sat up fully and stretched my arms over my head.

Maybe it wouldn’t be so bad. I walked down the creepy passageway until I reached Selina's bedroom. I could hear loud laughter and music. My stomach churned. Peeking in, I saw the girls drinking and singing in sexy lingerie. I felt so out of place in my pyjamas. I turned to leave, but Selina appeared, smiling. "Hey, welcome to my party. Why are you in pyjamas?" she asked, taking my hand and pulling me inside. "You said it was a slumber party," I mumbled.

There’s a tiny moment of silence before Jackson bursts out laughing, but before I figure out what’s so funny, the four other boys in the room come to stand at the edge of my bed, staring down at the glassy puddle that was a marble a few seconds ago. “What the…fuck is going on here?” Ben asks, looking between the marble and me and Jackson. “What kind of weird-ass homework is this?” “Seriously,” Luca says, crossing his arms and frowning. “You guys just hold hands for an hour and then…” he shakes his head, baffled, “I mean, I don’t even have an ending to that sentence. What is going on here?”
