There was a tall, blocky man with a jagged golden crown, a woman wearing an oversized silver tiara, a small blob representing a little boy, a giant black dog with six legs, a glowing stick figure surrounded by yellow loops, and a final girl drawn with aggressively angry V-shaped eyebrows. Kael let out a long, dry sigh. "Let me guess. The one with the furious eyebrows is your long-lost aunt?"

With that statement, Aries hisses his agreement. Images begin to project on the wall behind her as she continues to speak. Which is weird considering she hasn't moved an inch. "Ironclad dragons. Phoenixes. Leviathans. Direwolves. Storm Gryphons. Moon Serpents. Flame Hounds. Cerberus'. Unicorns. Frost Lynxes. Kitsune. Ash Ravens. Nemean Lions." She says with confidence as the images change behind her head still without any movement. "And of course the many extinct or the now unwilling bonds that you will learn more about in your history classes." she says as the images flick again and my breath stalls.

“Now, what did Jonathan write?” “Let’s see. Scepter equals Excalibur. Sword of Gryffindor rules. Mirror of Erised.” I squinted a little as I read the handwritten note. Isis shifted in my lap, turning to look at me, utterly confused. “I’m not sure I understand that. Why does Jonathan go from talking about Excalibur to Harry Potter? I mean, both are British, and Merlin is in both, though obviously only spoken of in Harry Potter.” Isis’s brow was furrowed as she tried to understand that strange way my friend’s mind works.

His eyes scan the room and a few on the board look away, bowing their heads in respect. “Alpha, I wasn’t questioning your judgment,” Clancy interrupts, “I’m simply…” “Apple is my only Luna!” Sly roars. “I will not accept another. She is MINE!” Frantically, Sly unbuttons his shirt and pulls it to the side, revealing the gleaming gold mark in the shape of my teeth on his neck. A few in the crowd gasp openly as he turns his body slowly to make sure everyone gets a good look. “Alpha-level…” some of them whisper. “She’s more than wolf enough…”
