There were four houses students were sorted into based on, obviously, what type of supernatural they were. Lupercalia for werewolves, Nosferatu for vampires, Ignis, and Antheion for phoenixes and faes, respectively. Humans would be sorted into one of them based on which they had the most affinity to. “Now, what did Jonathan write?” “Let’s see. Scepter equals Excalibur. Sword of Gryffindor rules. Mirror of Erised.” I squinted a little as I read the handwritten note. Isis shifted in my lap, turning to look at me, utterly confused. “I’m not sure I understand that. Why does Jonathan go from talking about Excalibur to Harry Potter? I mean, both are British, and Merlin is in both, though obviously only spoken of in Harry Potter.” Isis’s brow was furrowed as she tried to understand that strange way my friend’s mind works.

She began to compare the two men in her head, weighing their attitudes and likeness to each other. They were wholly opposite and she couldn't for the life of her think about how to choose one over the other.

They finally found Yu. He was wearing a silvery white wig (which Alice thought does not fit Yu) and a robe that had a Slytherin logo branded on his left chest. It was obvious that he was Draco Malfoy from the Harry Potter series.

The girl is gorgeous until she sneers at me, her eyes looking me up and down. "Watch where you are going!" She shouts in the most dramatic way possible. "And what are you wearing? If you are a student, you need to wear the color of your house. Aren't you sorted yet?" "Sorted?" I ask. Two other girls are glaring at me from behind the blonde girl, clearly her little minions. They all wear the same blue cheerleading clothes, and blondie got pointy ears—definitely Fae. "At Magic Academy, there are four houses; each one represents an element—as you can see, we all belong in the house of water. It values beauty, but beauty doesn't seem important to you since you're wearing those clothes."

Red and gold banners hung in the top two towers with an emblem that I guessed was the schools. “Holy shit, I’m at Hogwarts,” Not realizing I said that out loud. “Only better,” she whispered in my ear, making me jump. “Come let me show you why it’s better. I looked at the grounds and school in awe. All of the students had black and white uniforms with a gold seal on the shirt. The girls wore checkered skirts with white blouses, and gray stockings. While the boys were in black slacks, a white button up and a red and black striped tie.

You are in Ravenclaw Pack, the largest and strongest pack in all three regions under the leadership of Alpha Stephan.” I swallowed, my face turning pale at her words. Ravenclaw pack was the most elusive and dangerous pack in the kingdom.

"I don't get to do that much, but Jasmine doesn't mind." Renee doesn't say more about that and I really think I know why and I am just happy to know her wolf's name. She then took a deep breath and began to tell me all about it. She explained how there was a whole other world, hidden from the non-magical people, where witches and wizards lived and went to school. She told me about Hogwarts, the magical school, and how it was divided into four houses, each with its own unique traits and qualities. As she spoke, I couldn't help but be amazed by her words. It sounded like something straight out of a fantasy novel. But her excitement and conviction made me believe that it was real.
