Captivated by the Werewolves' Den

Captivated by the Werewolves' Den

I groan from the heavy weight I am carrying now, and the factor that I am thin-- I mean sexy is making me even sicker! "Fine." "Thanks." After that I roam my eyes by the place, Grimson town market has still that medieval era theme. Lively that I've been brought to live to an historical drama. But there's no perfect leading man. "All is done. Let's head back at the car." "Coming," I said and followed her. We travel at the town circle, yup the parking is really far away. I know, hassle.

Dirty Family Secrets

Dirty Family Secrets

Lacy shrugged again and said, "Sure." So we started walking in that direction. And it suddenly felt official in my head. Our first date had begun. Well, if you want to call it that. I mean, we didn't really do much. We didn't go out to eat. We didn't go see a movie. Of course, the theatre in this town wasn't even open that night anyway. Like I said, it was a very small town. We just... walked around. The downtown was very small. Only a few blocks with a handful of stores, two restaurants and three bars. There were two rivers that converged right in the center of the town, with only one streaming away to the west. The park we walked to was right in the middle of the river convergence, and we

The Lost Pack

The Lost Pack

“But I want to earn it. When I gave her my mark, it was far from the magical moment it was supposed to be. I want to put that right, but there’s not much I can do in the way of romance, given our current circumstances.” “Of course there is. Romance doesn’t have to be fancy dates and candlelit dinners,” he says quietly. “Sometimes it’s just… showing up in the small ways. Making her tea the way she likes it. Sitting with her when she can’t sleep. Taking Jaxon for an hour so she can have a bath without worrying the house will fall down.” “Pretty sure she’d still worry the house might fall down,” I scoff. “Yeah,” he admits, smiling. “But at least she’d be worrying in warm bubbles.”

Loving this book so far! Author, as many have stated in the chapter comments, 291 & 292 are repeat chapters from 283 & 284. Though I do believe they should be at 291/292 (makes more sense) and not 283/284.

A Sick Romance

A Sick Romance

Her eyes red, she tried to sound generous as she said, "Felix, don't you love me the most? Are you really going to blame me for this? I'm your only public girlfriend; everyone expects you to marry me. I'm upset, Felix. I'm the one who's been by your side. Why would you need a substitute who looks just like me? You can't love anyone else—only me!" She thought her tantrum would make Felix apologize and comfort her. But Felix's gaze turned icy with fury, the killing intent practically radiating off of him. He only relaxed when he saw me open my eyes. The three followers, seeing the tension, quickly jumped in. "Mr. Palmer, Darcy is your true love. Everyone else is just a passing fling. You shoul

Chaotic Obsession

The way he drove with one hand on the wheel and the other resting palm-up on the center console, waiting for hers. And then there was the restaurant. She’d expected maybe a steakhouse. A booth. Something loud and simple. Not this. White lights draped across the patio of a little bistro outside of town. A private table set with candles and roses and two wine glasses that sparkled under the setting sun. She blinked, unsure if it was real. He came around to her side of the truck, opened the door, and offered his hand. “Johnny…” she breathed, stepping out. “You said you never got a real date,” he said softly. “This seemed like a good place to start.”

The Billionaire Waitress

“This is you, Kayla—radiant, mine.” His kiss was slow, deep, his lips warm against mine, a quiet promise that eased my fears. I leaned into him, my body softening, the sapphire gown shimmering in the moonlight. Xiamond’s rumors were noise, but his love was my anchor. I wasn’t the waitress hiding anymore; I was Kayla Reed, his partner, claiming my place.

i feel so sorry, both for Toma and Yuji. i hope that what happened to them, would not happen to anyone in real life. Toma's childhood was too much! Yuji did not deserve to be crippled by a psycho student...

She opened the door, looked at the delivery guy who just spoiled the romantic moment she was about to have again. "Thank you" she said and quickly shut the door with the box of pizza in her hand. "You didn't cook dinner?" Dennis asked, walking closer to her as she placed the box of pizza on a table in her living room. "Yes" she briefly replied, still realizing what just happened but the thought alone delighted her so much. "Are you hungry?" She turned at him and asked him. To her surprise, she found Dennis standing so close to her that their nose met. Dennis' eyes were filled with desire for the woman he loves, deep inside him, he could feel the love in his heart growing into deep passion th

Frequently Asked Questions

Let me offer a counterpoint to the usual contemporary fare: 'Marrying Winterborne' by Lisa Kleypas, though historical, is deeply embedded in the microcosm of a Victorian town's high society. The community pressure, the gossip, the way everyone knows everyone's business—it's all the hallmarks of a small-town dynamic, just with carriages and ball gowns. The central romance is fierce and passionate, with a hero who is utterly devoted in the most overwhelming way. The setting feels just as claustrophobic and intimate as any modern story set in a tiny locale.
