A smirk tugged at his lips. “I'll take that as approval.” I wandered farther inside, slowly taking everything in. “This is insane.” I turned toward him. “So you own this place.” His expression remained annoyingly unreadable. “I never said I didn't.” Very annoying human being. Call me Hadeon.” Suki nodded. “Of course.” He stepped closer to her, watching her carefully as he pulled out a pack of cigarettes from his pocket. Opening the pack, he offered it to her, “Smoke?” “No, thank you,” she cleared her throat, “my father would murder me if I smoked. Plus, I’m not a fan of the smell.” She tapped the tip of her nose before leaning against the edge of the brick wall. A soft scoff escaped his lips as he put the pack away. “Ah, of course, enhanced senses can be such a bitch.”

He holds my eyes in a challenge and I'm too defiant to look away. "You are welcome to sit. No one in this house cares about the smoke." He says and takes another puff. Without a word I walk over to the chair opposite him and sit. I light my cigarette and inhale deeply before blowing out a puff of smoke. I look at the book the man is currently reading. Magician. The bold white words stand out against the stark black on the spine. The man could sense my star and peered over the top in amusement and… anticipation? Almost expectantly. "Have you read it?" He asks, mocking humor in his voice.

Adrien’s eyebrow lifted slightly as he turned his head toward me. “To know that you actually care about my health,” he said with mild amusement, “is surprisingly comforting.” He took another slow puff before continuing. “But unfortunately, I smoke for a living.” The man actually winked. I stared at him in disbelief. “You realize,” I said slowly, crossing my arms again, “that I can’t exactly open my eyes and discover that my partner in crime, the man helping me take revenge, has died of lung failure halfway through the job.”

I said to him ignoring his cold attitude, but I sat on the floor and the books were on the table as I was backing him, suddenly this strong smell hit my nose and I coughed badly, what smells like cigarettes, I turned my head and there I saw him smoking I was shocked to the core, Alex smokes? "Alex?? You smoke?" I asked in disbelief and to my greatest surprise he didn't respond but just kept on smoking, this Alex I know smoked?
