I took the largest group, fifty warriors including Darius and linked them through pack bonds. The unity settled over Shadowpine like a warm blanket. Every wolf felt connected, supported, part of something larger than themselves. Through Darius's eyes, I saw the enemy approaching. Ironwood Pack warriors in dark tactical gear, spread in a massive formation. At their center rode Alpha Kristoff on a black motorcycle, showing off, making a statement. He was huge. We’re going to go to Denver to join the fight. Red let out a howl. Others must have heard because we were soon joined by Goldie, Wyatt, Shorty, Brat, and Liam in their wolf forms. They all continued to let out howls as they ran along with us.
