HELLO, STEPBROTHER

HELLO, STEPBROTHER

"Alright, girls. Let's get the drinks flowing and the music playing. It's going to be a great night!" Alicia and I exchanged a look, grinning. We knew exactly what to do. The night was a blur of laughter and music, the tavern filling up with familiar faces and new ones. I worked the bar with Alicia, pouring drinks and collecting tips. Barnes worked the kitchen, whipping up his famous burgers and fries. The atmosphere was lively and festive, the perfect blend of holiday cheer and small-town charm. As the night wore on, the tavern grew more crowded, the noise level rising. But Alicia and I worked seamlessly together, our movements practiced and efficient. We were a well-oiled machine, and the

The Alpha's Hidden Triplets

The Alpha's Hidden Triplets

Though my inner wolf is not fond of the loud, wild tavern scene, the thought of the silver coins makes my beast relent. Promptly at 7 PM, I show up at the Blissful Uncle’s Tavern, the city’s most opulent watering hole and a veritable gold mine for the high packs. The crowd inside this stone tavern is either loaded with gold or carries massive pack influence from the high council. Despite having to wear a slightly revealing black leather dress and high heels that my wolf absolutely detests, I find the drink chores tolerable. In just over an hour, my hands have already sold three bottles of pricey mountain liquor, each fetching upwards of two thousand silver pieces, which means my coin commiss

Magnus: Dragon Prince

Raz said, shuddering slightly. “Are there any nice places around here?” Rex asked with a heavy sigh. “Droggerm has a large betting tavern, they bet on anything, so he probably owes someone money, father has said it is a nice place” Lacey said with a smile, “Scared are we, oh not a wimpy one?” “Not scared, the town isn’t that nice” Raz shrugged. “I don’t care, let’s just make it there in one piece yeah?” Rex said, jabbing Raz between the ribs with the stirrups.

This is actually a book! Most of the things I read on here have chapters consisting of 800 words or less This on the other hand has chapters that are 2k words on avg. plus the content is amazing. It could use a better editor cause there are a few gramatical errors, but overall, its my favorite book!

Very good world building, intriguing story, and decent characters. I'll be honest, I was just glad to find something on this app that wasn't smut. can't wait for more chapters, I've become very attached to the storyline and want to explore the world more.

The Dragon's Coveted Wife

The Dragon's Coveted Wife

she replied shortly and followed him into the storm. The tavern, The Singing Huntress, was the largest that they had stayed at on this strange and unusual journey. It was also the nicest. There were no pockmarked floors or mismatched chairs. Everything was carved from deep, rich mahogany that shone brilliantly underneath the many lamps. The man and woman behind the bar were dressed in finery and they looked more like patrons as opposed to workers. They were older and smiled widely at Saffron and Elric as they entered.

He's Not the Alpha

He's Not the Alpha

I just pray to whatever diety listening, that it's not Grayson. A shabby tavern is where I enter next. The hideout of every criminal that roams the rocky roads. It's darky and encrusted with the smell of years old smokers, cackled laughter and even blood where fights over the most ludacris things have taken place. I glance around, seeking the right spot where I'm sure information is bound to turn up. There's hushed chatter in a corner, men and women gathered together, almost as if conspiring a revolt. It's the wrong crowd to be around, but I grab a chair, ordering a drink and pretend to mind my business. "Do you know where he's gone off to?"

WOLVES AMONG SHADOWS

WOLVES AMONG SHADOWS

Entering The Bear Trove Tavern, Dean was greeted by the warm, inviting glow of amber lights reflecting off polished wooden surfaces; the air was thick with the mingled scents of aged whiskey, freshly brewed beer, and the faint, lingering aroma of grilled food from the kitchen A motley assortment of hunting trophies, old photos, and mementos covered the walls, as if they told a thousand tales about the tavern's past customers. The bar itself was a solid, dark oak counter that had been worn smooth over many elbow rests and stories shared over pints. Behind it stood rows of bottles, their contents glowing in the low light, promising both solace and camaraderie. The bartender was a kind-looking,

The Blood King's Bride

The Blood King's Bride

She quickly ran out of her hiding place, not willing to listen to any more of their talks. The Kingdom of Neba. A local tavern... The loud voices of drunken men and music filled the whole building. A group of men had come into the tavern to celebrate; they bought drinks and surrounded themselves with dancers. The hired entertainers did well to perform their best, hoping to receive a hefty tip which the men didn't disappoint in providing. Pouches of coins were splayed everywhere, and people, both workers and customers alike, picked up some amount.

Dawn of the Hunters

Dawn of the Hunters

Black and scaly with a beak full of jagged sharp teeth. In the distance a child cried, the sound cutting through the bleak night, as the moon shone down on quiet streets. I made my way across town to Sapiens, an old tavern that still operated on the outskirts of Briarshire. An establishment that had been passed down through generations and had even withstood the great Lycan wars from two and a half centuries ago. With my enhanced hearing I could make out the lowly chatter of patrons and the giggles coming from the women who worked there. It was a bar, but it also doubled as a bordello house.

I love this series. It is well written with indepth characterter development that keeps various aspects connected. So many highs and lows that keeps the story interesting. Rhet’s story is touching and provides a deeper understanding of why he is a knight.

The Three Little Guardian Angels

The Three Little Guardian Angels

“How are you doing? Do you feel more relaxed after staying here for a while?” He responded with a faint hum and drank his wine. “Sort of.” “You don’t know that this tavern is famous for something else other than our booze, do you?” Zephir was puzzled. “What’s that?” “It’s also known as the Tavern of Love Encounter.” Zephir was rendered speechless. The owner laughed and poured some wine for Zephir. “I’m serious. Perhaps if you stay here for a while longer, you’ll meet your soulmate and bring her back with you.”

I've read to 2095 chapters Very interesting story, especially when the triplets are grown up. The negative is the story once the twin are older, drags. Aso the Author left the last chapter incomplete, where she could easily have wrote the next chapters. When is the Author releasing the next chapter
