The madness of life

The madness of life

– thinking of solar. "It depends on what you believe," said the Hermit. "What do you believe?" – interested in solar. "I believe that sooner or later each of us will see the Sun," the Hermit replied intricately, and Sunny pondered what the Hermit had said. At that moment, Sunny and Hermit heard the announcement of an unscheduled break at lot 34 due to the latest event, and all the robots headed to the power supply warehouse to replace their vital power supply unit. During the queue for the issuance of power supply units an unfamiliar robot spoke to Solar:

He looked at Luna, which nodded in approval. “Prophecy from who?” The head of the guard asked, but it fell on deaf ears. “Please take the board, Sol.” Luna’s father said. Sol smiled and stood up. He is no longer that boy with yellow hair, without parents, and looks weird. He is now the son of the Dawn, with the power to see the future within the day. Hanan had asked him to help and he will do his best to prove he is worthy of who he is now.

Aetherion Academia #1: Shadows of Rebirth

Aetherion Academia #1: Shadows of Rebirth

"Combustion specialist. Need vacuum created or wall leveled, I'm your girl." Beside her, girl with hair color of dried blood leaned against kitchen counter. "Kira Blight," she muttered, eyes tracking silver of my hair with hungry respect. She drew a small dagger, which licked of oily black hellfire dancing along blade, hissing as it ate through magical residue in air. "I don't do flashy, but my fire doesn't stop until barriers are gone." "Sola Sun-Walker." Solar Elf with skin like burnished gold offered stiff formal bow. "My people draw power from the sun itself. I can melt steel from hundred paces, provided sky is clear."

Toward the Sun

Toward the Sun

“You aren’t unable to move because of sleep paralysis anymore.” Jaladri’s stomach twisted. “That was my strike. You won’t be able to move again until sunrise. So if you'd like to perform the dawn prayer, you'll have to do it spiritually. Your body is temporarily unavailable.” If Jaladri had been capable of moving, his eyes would have bulged out of his skull. Until sunrise? Like this? With his chest feeling as though a horse had kicked through it? “Control your breathing and the pain will lessen. But moving? Forget it. Not until morning. And if you suddenly need to urinate...”

Alpha Orion

Alpha Orion

Rey grinned, quickly gathering the wood she'd dropped and the blanket she'd left behind, while Orion went to retrieve the rabbit. When they arrived at the campsite, a pregnant woman stood up quickly, alarm flashing across her face as her eyes fell on Orion. She clutched her belly protectively, moving closer to her husband. "This is my wife, Adah," Tristan said, resting a hand on her shoulder. "Adah, this is Rey and Benny. We met not far from here, and from what I gathered, they're also travelling through these parts." Adah's eyes softened when they met Rey's. "Nice to meet you," she said warmly.

The Lost Pack

The Lost Pack

I frown, but gently move Jaxon onto Parker’s lap and stand. I step into the beam of sunlight that shines brightly through the window. The moment it touches my skin, something inside me… shifts. Not violently or intensely. It’s more like a gentle realignment. I inhale deeply, the breath filling my lungs without effort. Leo watches me carefully. “Ronnie said sunlight might help.” “It does,” I whisper. “It feels… easier.” Parker lets out a weak laugh. “Great, my mate runs on solar power.” Leo grins. “Better than running on your battery.”

Loving this book so far! Author, as many have stated in the chapter comments, 291 & 292 are repeat chapters from 283 & 284. Though I do believe they should be at 291/292 (makes more sense) and not 283/284.

this was the first story I read by this author. it was beautiful! I felt every emotion and got some crazy looks from my mate when I would start laughing or wiping my face because I shed some tears. it's definitely worth reading. I finished it in 2 days because I literally couldn't put it down

The Ominous: Some play it safe, heroes don't

The Ominous: Some play it safe, heroes don't

“What can they do?” “Sun Beetle can fly, spit acid, has night vision, and shoots solar beams from his eyes,” Natalie whispered. “Fright Star is a telekinetic like Eric here. Only, his telekinesis has a red aurora instead of white.” “What was that?” Sun Beetle said. He turned his head towards our direction, flying down the hallway as his wings flapped like an insect taking flight. We held our breath when Sun Beetle flew inches from Natalie. But he didn’t notice her.
