While the sprinter takes the damage, the others collectively injure the target and ultimately let the sprinter have the killing blow on the target, letting him gain the saturation points. The non-sprinters have the job of maintaining the constant supply of saturation points. The strategy works for lower tiers because the non-spriters can take it comparatively easy and recover their chakra.
