THE CEO'S PREGNANT NANNY

THE CEO'S PREGNANT NANNY

My Lauren. My hands were cold, yet I ran my fingers through my hair, trying to contain the chaos inside me. I slipped my hand into my pocket and touched something that made me freeze for a moment. I pulled out the little pink baby shoes. Those tiny pieces of fabric felt like they weighed a ton in my hand. I sat on the steps of the mansion’s staircase, staring at the shoes as if they were the only thing left of the family I almost had.

Someone Else Became the Tragic Protagonist

Someone Else Became the Tragic Protagonist

It made me slap Kris, smash a police car, hit Ruby, and even post online about organ trafficking. Every self-sabotaging act had been pulling me out of a predetermined, miserable fate. This time, when it told me to lock the door and take Kris’ phone, it was not trying to harm me at all. It was trying to make Kris and Ruby suffer the consequences of their own actions. When the sound of the ambulance finally faded away, I drove away from the house. My phone vibrated. It was a text from Ruby. [Simone, where are you?! He has broken bones! They stabbed him in his leg, and he lost so much blood! If you hadn’t locked him in, none of this would have happened!]

The Bodyguard: Guardian of the Phoenix Project

The Bodyguard: Guardian of the Phoenix Project

I don't want to keep reminding myself of the past. — Sara, don't worry. I'll drive you and then we'll spend Christmas Eve together. Didn't we agree on that? — Johnny he asked, handing me the paper bag. —And we're staying here, okay?— I asked opening it and seeing that it was a pair of Louboutin shoes . Very beautiful. — If you don't feel safe wearing the shoes, you can wear the sneakers. It'll be just as perfect.— Miriam came into the room carrying another box and inside was a beautiful pair of white sneakers all embroidered in pearls. I sighed with love for that perfection.

The Billionaire's Abandoned Wife is an Heiress

The Billionaire's Abandoned Wife is an Heiress

She did not want to make eye contact with anyone, especially because there was a high possibility that they were locals and knew about the press conference that Josh’s mother made up. Tilting her head, her eyebrows instantly raised up when the door finally opened completely. There were two pairs of shoes, one was for a woman and the other was obviously for a man. The guy’s shoes looked familiar but she quickly dismissed it as she knew it was not rare to see someone wearing one because they were inside the most expensive hotel in England. ‘They must be a couple,’ she thought innocently as she noticed the distance between the two pairs of shoes. However, her forehead creased when she noticed t

Love the story, especially the last 10-20 chapters. I will say many ups & downs & my emotions were the same. While the story is a bit long & I felt the middle kind of drug on, it ended up being a great read!

One thing I noticed, you’re hesitant to write a detailed intimate scenes. You’re a good writer but I guess you should add some spice in love story book. At least explore, especially all of us readers are adults. Keep writing!!!

The Fontaines of Hollywood series: The Mystery of You

The Fontaines of Hollywood series: The Mystery of You

I should make my escape and sprint back to my car. But something stops me. Maybe it's that, in spite of his intimidating appearance, my gut tells me this man doesn't want to hurt me. Maybe it's that, for the moment, anyway, my loneliness is gone. And in its place is curiosity. Before I can make sense of all the different impulses tugging at me, he says, "Here it is." He turns and holds up my shoe. Water spills out of the top of the ugly black clog, and the sock I'd shoved down inside seems to be gone, but at least I won't have to go barefoot at my shift tonight.

The Devil's Claim... His little mouse.

The Devil's Claim... His little mouse.

Sherry found this strange, almost unsettling. Two weeks into this life, and people had treated her like a pawn, disregarding her as if her individual worth didn’t matter. In that time, this woman, who managed the store, knelt before her without even a moment’s hesitation. The gesture touched Sherry. It was often said that in the bleakest moments, the smallest kindness felt like a light in the dark, a reminder that some trace of humanity lingered, even among people as ruthless as those in the Cross Empire. "These are crafted by a master cobbler in southern Bone lake," Gen explained, lifting a pair of dark, inky blue heels that resembled a midnight sky. From afar, they appeared black, but upon

Bloodlines & Hearts

Bloodlines & Hearts

“Baby girl, the man gave me a black card. Do you know what that means?” Lydia raised an eyebrow. “That he is financially reckless.” “That he’s obsessed with you,” Vanessa corrected. “And doesn’t want you tiptoeing into that ballroom. He wants you to glide. Stomp. Float. Leave sparkles and destruction in your wake.” Before Lydia could come up with a comeback, Vanessa clapped her hands. “Come on, there's a place just down the street that sells the kind of shoes fairy godmothers would approve of." The shoe boutique was smaller than the dress shop but somehow even fancier. The walls were soft cream, the shelves were glass and the lighting made everything glow like it had its own spotlight. Burning in your Love

Burning in your Love

I applied just enough makeup to cover the damage and make myself presentable. Feeling satisfied with the results I crept back out of the bathroom and searched for my purse and shoes. Tom was still sleeping. I tried to be as quiet as possible quickly finding my purse and one shoe. I looked everywhere but couldn’t fine my other shoe. He started to stir. I had other shoes in the car. Saying screw it, I snuck out with only one shoe on my foot. By the time I reached the car the pain in my chest was almost unbearable.

The Nerd Can Fight

The Nerd Can Fight

I might have ruined 3 poor kids’ lives and I barely missed a beat in my daily routine. ‘Have I really lost my humanity?’ I thought with utter horror as I realized I was stared at the green blades of grass in front of my shoes, distracted. Suddenly, I heard the bench creak from an additional weight and I immediately tensed up. I glanced at the shoes next to mine and cursed myself for not paying attention to what shoes Cole was wearing. The shoes beside mine were soccer shoes but I couldn’t tell whether or not it was Cole’s or not.
