Blood Ties And Betrayal: The rogues redemption
Flashback
I walked out to the yard, took Kai, locked the door and this time I didn't return the key, rather I put it inside my purse.
But just as I walked to the grave to say my goodbye for the day to Derek, my eyes widened with disbelief, my eyes taking in the change on the grave, this wasn't here before.
On the now swept clean grave sat my white orchids that I had carefully placed there earlier, just that, beside it now sat another red roses, wrapped and placed on it which made my heart race at an unpredictable speed.
I was sure no one came to the lawn, no one except me, because if someone were here I should've caught a trace of them and I should be able to feel them by their scents.
