Flashback I walked out to the yard, took Kai, locked the door and this time I didn't return the key, rather I put it inside my purse. But just as I walked to the grave to say my goodbye for the day to Derek, my eyes widened with disbelief, my eyes taking in the change on the grave, this wasn't here before. On the now swept clean grave sat my white orchids that I had carefully placed there earlier, just that, beside it now sat another red roses, wrapped and placed on it which made my heart race at an unpredictable speed. Warmth spread throughout my body, unwanted and unfamiliar. I didn’t know how to respond. So I didn’t say anything. Instead, I looked down at the graves one last time. At the names carved in stone. At the two fresh bouquets of sunflowers. And for the first time in a long time, it didn’t feel like I was alone. “Come on,” I said again, nudging his sneakers lightly with mine. “If you don’t want lunch, that’s fine. But at least walk with me.” He stood up this time with no hesitation.

I took a deep breath in and out and then walked out of the car, closing the door behind me. I stared at their graves, I think I'm more stronger now, because I am no longer filled with grief like how I was last time I came. I walked slowly to their graves with a bouquet of flowers in my hand. I turned around, Diego was standing beside me, some feets away, right next to his car with his men surrounding him. I turned back to their graves and squatted.

Someone dressed completely in black. I looked around, trying to understand if I was in the wrong grave. I wasn't. I was in my own grave. I walked forward alerted, trying to see who this person was. It could be Jason. But why would Jason come to my grave? My heart leaped as I gasped, holding my mouth with my hands, my eyes wide. "No...no wa.. way." I could barely speak. This wasn't possible. Jason said it wasn't. What is he doing in my grave? Is he in the wrong place?

When I did not pull away, he tightened his grip slightly. Then he gently led me toward my parents’ graves. As we walked, I suddenly felt something strange. It felt like someone was watching me, I turned my head and looked around. But I saw nothing. When we reached my parents’ graves, I noticed something. Someone had already come to pay their respects before us.

She asked, and I nodded. I get out of the car and walk around the car to open the passenger side door for her. I held my hand out, and she placed her hands in mine. I helped her out of the car, and we walked inside the graveyard. We walked past Grandpa's tomb, and Kim looked at me confused. “We just passed Grandpa's tomb, honey.” I nodded but didn't offer any explanation. We walked past the tomb of my grandparents and great-grandparents. I walk until I get to a secluded area where a sunflower is planted around a lone tomb.

“What happened?” “Victoria destroyed everything and I helped her with that.” “What about your curse?” “It’s already gone.” We stood one next to each other, looking at the graves.
