Someone Walked Over My Grave Novels & Stories

CALEB A bent-over figure got me curious when I trotted into the cemetery. I slowly walked noiselessly close to Sherry’s grave, my eyes were still on the figure who seemed to be searching for something on the tombstones lined up before her–the hair pointed out that she was a lady. Her suspicious movements got my attention drifting away from Sherry’s grave. I stood still, the blue flower I brought still wrapped in my hands as my eyes followed her. She finally strengthened up and rubbed her back, groaning in pain.

I walked through the trees and my feet caused the dried leaves which had fallen on the ground. I walked into the darkness. It was late. I turned towards my left and stopped. I looked down at the stone. I crouched down and looked at the flowers that were dried and were placed near the stone. I placed the fresh flowers beside the dried ones. I looked around and it was really calm. I could only hear insects and leaves ruffling. I looked back at the grave. An unsettling feeling set in my heart. I traced the stone where the name had been engraved as tears fell from my eyes.

Strangely, my father's grave was the only one that was dug up. I had just returned my gaze when I noticed a shovel lying on the pile of sand. Also, there were muddy footprints that proceeded all the way to the pavement walkway. Someone had just been here!

"His body is buried alongside my father." As he stood up and walked away, I couldn't help but feel a sense of unease wash over me. But at least now, I knew where his body lay, and that was something. Unknown pov.. I walked over to where Zuku's body was buried, the damp earth squelching beneath my feet as I approached the grave. With a determined gleam in my eyes, I began to dig. The shovel scraped against the soil and rocks, the sound echoing in the quiet of the cemetery.

"You will find her grave by the Sycamore tree.' Without another word, he turned and walked away. As quickly as I could, I made my way to the location, still not wanting to believe. But there in front of me was the telltale sign of a new grave. My legs could no longer support my body. I dropped to my knees. Little hands curled into the freshly mounded earth. A pitiful wail whispered from my heart, "Momma!"

Andy replied. "Whatever, let's just get over with it." I replied in an annoyed tone and started walking deeper into the graveyard. As I was walking deeper, I felt someone's eyes on me. I turned around to look but there was no one except for me and my friends. I brushed off the thoughts and kept walking.

I said as I stood up. I walked out of George’s room and grabbed a shovel from the shed outside where the tools were kept and headed to the other side of town where a small cemetery laid undisturbed. I chose a space next to a little boy’s gravestone who had died when he was three years old and started digging George’s grave.

But I am a guy and he is too. Earth focus ok. He is just fond of you. .............. A year passed swiftly once again. Like every year, I waited near my grave. Maybe someone will come. My eyes flew to other graves and saw them decorated by their families. I will wait for my turn. My eyes glowed when I saw a young boy walking in my direction. Immediately, I sat upright and smiled. Someone came for me.

I stressed her name out. With that I hurriedly left him, walking through the several tombstones and trying to diminish my memories. After all, I’ve already been dead once, there’s no need to frit, right?

And why were they feared and revered in life, but now forgotten in death? I was about to turn around and check other graves, when somethings pulled me back. The initials on the gravestone, it was "NI". I took out the small knife hidden in my shoe as I slit my palm, allowing my blood spill on the grave until I was satisfied and I stopped. I prayed for it to be this one. Nothing was happening as I stared at the grave but then finally, the ground shook, I quickly backed away. Finally, I had found her.
