I know damn well there are cases that just can't be saved, and that is what happened to his wife. I didn't want to upset him, but I also wanted him to know that life happens, and people die. I don't want to sound callous. I'm not. Each person that dies was loved greatly by someone else, whether a parent, child, brother, sister, lover. Everyone is loved. And when someone dies unexpectedly like that, it's harder to come to terms with.
