“We need to cut off the head of the snake.”
“And by ‘head,’ I’m guessing you mean Luca,” I said.
“Exactly.”
A sudden explosion rocked the dockyard, the force of it knocking me off balance. I turned to see one of Robert’s men staggering away from a burning car, his arm hanging limp at his side.
“They have got grenades?” I hissed.
“Luca does not do anything halfway,” Robert said grimly.
We moved quickly, using the container’s height to our advantage. Robert fired in controlled bursts, taking out the men trying to flank us, while I provided cover fire.
