Roselyn and CJ Kinsley flanked them while Jacira Silvercloud stood a little apart, her arms crossed but a pleased smile on her cherub-cheeked face that reminded me of her father’s smile. Above them, DOVE hovered, its metallic wings reflecting the late afternoon sunlight. The mechanical bird’s Indigenous markings pulsed with a soft green glow, and its sentient programming allowed it to shift and adjust midair with uncanny precision. Even from a distance, I could sense its protectiveness over Jacira, circling overhead as if it were standing guard. I glanced at Alex. He had stopped short, eyes narrowing at the sight of the bird. “I still owe that thing for ruining my favorite hat,” he muttered.

I wonder if it would be higher if it wasn’t near the cliffside. My mind kinda went blank as my vision was ensnared by the California shore that passed. It was early in the evening so the sun had just begun to set. The water sparkled and was an almost dark purple shade, which contrasted from the soft pink and golden oranges that swirled in the horizon. I saw some dolphins or seals jump out of the water in the distance. I smiled as it was like they were waving to me and welcoming me into their home.

The Monarch-rank mechanical bird screeched. A purple energy beam shot out of its mouth like a laser. The target was Windfall. Windfall sensed danger when it heard the bird's screech and immediately dodged after landing. The purple beam narrowly missed, blasting the ground. The attack left a hole about 10 centimeters in diameter, its depth unknown. The Monarch-rank mechanical bird screeched again. It was really high up, so it was understandable for its attack to miss. Thus, the bird lowered its altitude to about 500 meters from the ground. This time, it didn't target Windfall, but Victor.

Tomorrow night, I would leave Sicelia. After finishing my last shift and collecting my pay, I walked out of the restaurant. A familiar black Lamborghini was parked at the entrance to the plaza. Before I could step closer, fireworks suddenly lit up the sky over downtown Palemore. Then, countless drones formed words in the night sky. [SALVATORE LOVES IRENE FOREVER!]

Her mother asked, and Dawn looked at her. “Because Sammy has problems with his hands. He moves slower than other kids. He needs one that won’t bounce too much or be filled too much with air, so he doesn’t get hurt.” Dawn replied, and her mother looked at her weirdly. That was the beginning though no one expected the truth to come out the way it did.

said Shadow looking at Birdie (Boscage Maze), Maria Robotnik and Nexus. I looked at Nexus, a wolf with 4000 Crystal and Gemstone-like tails wearing Black Crop Top paired with a V-String Thong with Garters and with Spiked Choker, Spiked Shoulder Pads., Spiked Arm Bracelets, Fingerless Gloves, Spiked Knee Pads, Spiked Leg Bracelets connected to his His Spiked Shoes with chains, Tail Spiked Bracelets for all 4000 crystal and gemstone-like tails and Facemask; all accessories uniformly coloured in black with a Paradox Prism heart. Suddenly I heard, "Wheee-aw! a bird sound. "what's a bird doing in this God's forsaken place." I tried my best to get rid of my blurry vision but I could not. I peer harder through the darkness and I saw someone lying in the middle of the dark storm with a bird close to it. The bird was rubbing its small feathered head on him. with the speed of lightning I crawl faster to the place "Dylan, thank goodness!" I said with excitement. the excruciating pain seems to not bother me anymore. I moved him and place him on my back, The bird flew and stood in front of me. "Wheee-aw!, wheee-aw!!, whee-aw!!!," it makes a consistent sound nonstop.

Great, now I'm paying for bird drama that isn't even mine. Panicking, I sucked in air and let out a hoot. "HOOOOT!!!" The owl froze mid attack, frightened. "Oh my goodness," I gasped "I just sonic boomed a bird with my hoot" My rival shook its head, obviously offended and flew off into the sky.

So the bird-man's rib membranes… he wasn't really a bird-man, but a bat-man! Bats don't grow feathers, though… whatever. Ray would keep calling him bird-man. He only cared about the ability, not the species. "Cathlene!" the young man suddenly shouted. The "super-ear" woman immediately understood. She struck a nearby rock, listening intently, sweat streaming down her forehead in visible discomfort. Her hearing far exceeded normal human limits, so the bird-man's sonic attack had hit her hardest—she nearly blacked out on the spot. Then, she pointed toward Ray's position. "The spot on the ground!"

ACE. The SUV comes to a standstill at the top of Peak Mountain. Stepping out of the vehicle, I take one final drag of my cigarette and then toss it onto the ground, tilting my head back. Exhaling through my nostrils, I take a minute to admire the cloudless sky and allow the warmth of the sun to caress my face. It’s the only sensation that doesn’t seem to piss me off and while I can, I’m going to indulge in it every chance I get until my Little Bird is returned and back safely in my arms.
