It was first for Anu to witness a guy blushing and his cheeks and ears turning red. till today she thought only girls blushed, but when she saw him shying away from her compliment she just wanted to pull his cheeks and tell him how adorable he looked. but she controlled herself from doing such an act. The sound to me was like a small incessant ringing but to them, it was a loud frequent wave, similar to a banshee's wail.

It felt like a telltale blush, a delicate bloom of roses on her fair skin.
