Scumbags need to be shown their place. She tightens her hold on her purse and proceeds to the club. There was a queue and everyone had to show their tickets before they were allowed in. Zoey got to the security who scrutinized her from head to toe. "I am here to see Isaiah Alcatraz. He told me to meet him here." The people around who heard her, were taken aback. Some began to talk amidst themselves but she wasn't bothered about that. Of course, she was expecting them to talk about her. She wasn't dressed as someone who planned on going into the club. That was what she wanted. If Isaiah thinks he could use her, she planned on showing him that she wasn't someone that can be toiled with.

In a moment of sheer panic, the bar snapped, and I clutched the baby tightly against my chest,wrapping it tight in the towel again using my jawbone and securing it in my jaw. Soon, the ground vanished beneath me, and I plummeted towards the unknown. The impact of the fall was brutal, leaving me with a broken paw. Pain flowed through my body, but I had no time to lament. Dragging myself forward, using my remaining three paws, I relentlessly propelled myself towards the exit I could see in the distance.

She could not believe that Selene didn't afraid on the height even it made her to feel dizzy. "Let's go! I think I'm the one who nneeds clinic.." Jenny whispered and Maine locked her arm on the arm of Jenny and they walked away from the edge of the rooftop.

With a cue from Sarah, the hired guns went after Zoey in their own ride. Zoey floored the accelerator, but the pursuing vehicle stayed on her tail. With the cliff looming ahead, Zoey reached for her phone with a trembling hand to call for help. Alas, the fender of the car behind slammed into hers. She hit a boulder before the cliff with a bang.

"We haven't really crossed blades yet, so I don't know their level. From what I can tell, their attacks on the bunker aren't very strong." She looked up at him. "But don't worry. Even if I can't break in, I can cover my tracks. They won't find me." Cyrus nodded, satisfied. "Good. Do it." They had already made the first move. He saw no reason to pretend otherwise. As they spoke, Zoey's panicked voice burst in from outside. "Cyrus, this is bad! There's a monster!" Cyrus and Barbara exchanged a look. "That cat really likes you," Cyrus said with a smile. "It followed us all the way here."

"Ohh, no, no, no. Don't you dare cry again. Alright, alright. I'll marry you when we grow up. Happy now?" In the blink of an eye, Zoey's little, almond, hazelnut eyes shimmered in delight. And Dionysus almost caught his breath. He was clearly starstruck at a little girl he had only met for a few hours. Little Zoey smiled prettily. "I'm Zoey. My name is Zoey Veera Lavigne. Nice to meet you, my hubby!"

Zane commanded. Suddenly there was a loud "Boom!!!", coming from Yoko's end, and Zane could feel the effect of it vibrating in his ear. Before he could speak, another came through, "Boom!!!!" "Boom!!" Fear shot in Zane's eyes as he jumped to his feet and shouted out, "Yoko!!... Yoko, are you okay?! What the hell just happened?"

A few minutes later Zoey woke up with a headache and to find herself lying down on a trampoline. “What the hell happened to me…?”, she muttered under her breath in confusion. Just then, everything started coming back to her. (Oh no…Alex..), she thought to herself. Zoey got off the trampoline and tried her best to run as fast as she could to Alex but all she could do was limp. ‘BOOM’ A loud sound went off as fire went off in the warehouse and the force of the fire made her fall flat.

I could feel her wolf more than normal. Then I heard a crack, like thunder slamming into earth and light exploded in the sky just ahead, like lightning made of magic. Hannah and I ran the last stretch and when we broke through the trees I stopped breathing, my breath got caught in my throat. There she was. Zoey stood at the center of a shattered dome, her body glowing with power, glowing. Not just her, but her entire body shimmered like something sacred, and like something divine. She was floating slightly above the ground, her arms at her sides. Her hair whipped around her face like it was caught in a storm and her eyes shone like the stars.
