In a moment of sheer panic, the bar snapped, and I clutched the baby tightly against my chest,wrapping it tight in the towel again using my jawbone and securing it in my jaw. Soon, the ground vanished beneath me, and I plummeted towards the unknown. The impact of the fall was brutal, leaving me with a broken paw. Pain flowed through my body, but I had no time to lament. We’re gonna swing by Sonic to get a drink on our way to the game, but we won’t be late, ‘kay Mr. Monroe?” “Beth?” her dad said, his eyebrows knit together. “You look amazing, Beth!” Evelyn gushed, coming over and taking her daughter by the arms. “Wow! Who’d have known you could clean up so nicely. You look like one of Tiffany’s little friends!”

Isaac passed the 2nd story level until he hit the third it was one of a very few three-story dwellings on the row. “Zoey!” He called up. As we climbed the stairs we heard the thumping of steps across the hardwood floors. Zoey’s face with a mane of loose coiled hair peeked over the railing a set of headphones around her neck which she quickly threw behind her. She squealed.

"Let's go. Never seen that kind of performance before." … When I arrived at the center, I realized my life had been dull until this moment. The center, like its name suggested, was filled with all kinds of beastfolk. Adorable rabbits, seductive foxes, imposing wolf-dogs, outgoing and cheerful puppies, and more. This was heaven. The beastfolk were performing on the stage with all they had, showing off their charm as best as they could. The performer with the highest votes would be crowned Best Beastfolk Star, and they'd be awarded with a handsome amount of prize money.

With a cue from Sarah, the hired guns went after Zoey in their own ride. Zoey floored the accelerator, but the pursuing vehicle stayed on her tail. With the cliff looming ahead, Zoey reached for her phone with a trembling hand to call for help. Alas, the fender of the car behind slammed into hers. She hit a boulder before the cliff with a bang.

"We haven't really crossed blades yet, so I don't know their level. From what I can tell, their attacks on the bunker aren't very strong." She looked up at him. "But don't worry. Even if I can't break in, I can cover my tracks. They won't find me." Cyrus nodded, satisfied. "Good. Do it." They had already made the first move. He saw no reason to pretend otherwise. As they spoke, Zoey's panicked voice burst in from outside. "Cyrus, this is bad! There's a monster!" Cyrus and Barbara exchanged a look. "That cat really likes you," Cyrus said with a smile. "It followed us all the way here."

"Ohh, no, no, no. Don't you dare cry again. Alright, alright. I'll marry you when we grow up. Happy now?" In the blink of an eye, Zoey's little, almond, hazelnut eyes shimmered in delight. And Dionysus almost caught his breath. He was clearly starstruck at a little girl he had only met for a few hours. Little Zoey smiled prettily. "I'm Zoey. My name is Zoey Veera Lavigne. Nice to meet you, my hubby!"

Zane commanded. Suddenly there was a loud "Boom!!!", coming from Yoko's end, and Zane could feel the effect of it vibrating in his ear. Before he could speak, another came through, "Boom!!!!" "Boom!!" Fear shot in Zane's eyes as he jumped to his feet and shouted out, "Yoko!!... Yoko, are you okay?! What the hell just happened?"

Goosebumps appeared on them as they heard a sinister laugh, but they weren’t able to tell which direction it was coming from. “Over here.”, Zoey stated as she picked up the cat that was rubbing herself on Zoey’s leg. “If you do this to an animal again…I’ll kill you and I will feed you to vultures while you are alive. Is that understood?”, Zoey asked with an evil smile plastered on her face. The boy who threw the cat peed in his pants as they both nodded. Zoey’s eyes brightened dark red. “Run.”, Zoey stated and so they did.
