“I’ll respect that you see it differently than I do.” “Thank you,” he breathed--- before he smiled shyly at me. “So, when is your birthday?” “In September,” I replied. “What day?” “The most famous day of them all!” “September 11th,” he nodded. “Good, then I won’t forget.” “When’s your birthday?” I asked. “The 2nd of May,” he told me, but frowned. “But I hate celebrating my birthday.” “Why?”

My fingers trembled slightly as I touched the cold marble, the air around me heavy and still. “Lilian Vale. Date of birth, 20th September 1999. Date of death, 10th March 2009.” I forced back a tear. “Hi, Lily. I brought your favorite flowers. I still can’t believe you’re gone. You’d have been twenty-six today.” My voice cracked, but I kept going. “It’s your birthday, Lily.”

For Jordan, she's getting those stone massages. "Shit, I almost forgot about it. What am I going to do?" I've been so caught up with working and looking for an apartment I forgot my own son's birthday. The following month is August, the month of the zodiac sign Leo, which I named after. Well, his full name is Lionel.

Clearing my throat softly, I gave Lilian a nervous smile, "You didn't say 18th did you?" "I did. Zoey's birthday is the 18th of October. What's wrong?" "Nothing," I forced a smile, swallowing hard, "nothing at all." Only Everything.

“So I'm gonna check on Pebbles and then hit the sack.” “I'm sure Pebbles is fine. How about a drink?” Pops smirked as he grabbed the bottle of whiskey. “Pops, I'm 19, and I promised myself that I wouldn't drink until I'm 21, after what took place with the mayor's daughters.” “Do you see any teens with phones here? Besides, it's your birthday today, so you're a year closer to the big 21.” “Shit,” I ran a hand over my face. “With all that has transpired with Pebbles, Sinister, and Vanessa, I totally forgot my birthday.”

Birthday After the doctor announced Arthur's death, I didn't feel anything. More like I'm overwhelmed and thankful. He's been jerking off his way to the company my parents built and has been an asshole to me. "I'm sorry, Calliana. You heard this news on your birthday," I was in a daze when Tito Alex spoke to me. "Huh?" "Today is March 31. It's your birthday." I didn't even notice that it was my birthday. Time flies so fast. And that bastard's death is today, that means double celebration?

A few days later, which happened to be Baby T’s birthday, Sonia came out of her room, stretching and yawning after a restless night. “Good morning, Rose,” she murmured. “Good morning, Rose replied, excited. She paused, expecting Sonia to say something. “Oh, don't tell me you've forgotten!” “Forgotten what?” Sonia asked, rubbing the sleep from her eyes. “Come on, today is November 12. I'm the one who’s terrible with dates, I've never known you to be.” Sonia’s eyes widened, “Ohh my goodness! It’s Baby T’s birthday. I'm so sorry,” she said, disappointed in herself.

Alice nodded smiling sadly. Kana frowns. He comes to think of it, he doesn't remember his own birthday. He's 21 now. Because so much happened, he forgot his real birthday. "It's my birthday," he mumbled. He looked at his husband and repeated it. "Happy Birthday, love," Kana was overwhelmed. He then turned to his parents. Alice opened her arms and Kana runs to her. "Happy Birthday, baby boy," Alice said caressing his hair. "Happy Birthday, champ," Derek said kissing his head.

I blurt, stepping back from her slightly manic expression. “Happy birthday,” she says, loud enough that half the corridor looks over. “What are you talking about?” I ask, genuinely blank. Sienna blinks like I’ve insulted her ancestors. “Oh my god, Zahra. Today’s April 16th. It’s your birthday.” “Oh. Right.” I manage a smile. Birthdays aren’t exactly a thing at my house. Sienna and Abby are the only ones who ever acknowledge it. She starts singing, “Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you,” and I clamp my hand over her mouth.

Tang Tang said angrily, "Today is my birthday. Don't you remember?" "Your birthday?" Yang Xiao did not know whether to laugh or cry. He really didn't remember Tang Tang's birthday. He just roughly knew which month Tang Tang was born, but didn't know the specific time.
