A few days later, which happened to be Baby T’s birthday, Sonia came out of her room, stretching and yawning after a restless night.
“Good morning, Rose,” she murmured.
“Good morning, Rose replied, excited.
She paused, expecting Sonia to say something.
“Oh, don't tell me you've forgotten!”
“Forgotten what?” Sonia asked, rubbing the sleep from her eyes.
“Come on, today is November 12. I'm the one who’s terrible with dates, I've never known you to be.”
Sonia’s eyes widened, “Ohh my goodness! It’s Baby T’s birthday. I'm so sorry,” she said, disappointed in herself.
