The phone rang at midnight, the way bad news always did. Gabriel Thorne stared at the unknown number glowing on his cracked screen, his heart already sinking before he answered. He had learned to recognize the particular quality of silence that preceded disaster, the way the air seemed to thicken with unspoken grief before the words even formed. "Gabriel." His mother's voice was barely a whisper, stretched thin with exhaustion and fear. "You need to come home. Your father is dying."

Her hand trembled as she reached for the handle. “Not so fast,” I growled, my voice cutting through the silence like a whip. Xander screamed the terror and panic he had been holding back. As if number 42 heard him, it suddenly slowed down. It's reducing it's spread, making the car behind it slow down too. Still hasn't grasped what's happening, Sonic 01 is trying to gain momentum to further nudge Azure 42 at the end of the track. At full speed, Sonic 01 drove sideways to hit Azure 42. However, to everyone's surprise. Azure 42 swiftly reversed while hitting the racer behind it. Instead of hitting Azure 42, Sonic 01 hit the edge of the track and eventually toppled down.

Klaus yelled. "Overload the system!" Sebastian roared. "Now!" Klaus grinned. A manic, punk-rock grin. A frequency so low and so loud it wasn't heard—it was felt. The speakers exploded with a shockwave of sound. The Cleaners on the catwalk stumbled, clutching their helmets. Ezekiels train of thought was cut short as he suddenly realized that he and his mother had arrived at the mortal's sick room. Ezra roared, a sound of such raw, visceral rage and fear that it shook the walls. Dexter looked up, momentarily distracted by the noise. He started to raise the stolen gun, the arrogant smirk still on his lips, but he was far too slow. A deafening CRACK filled the room. The sound was immediately followed by the sharp, acrid smell of gunpowder. Dexter's body convulsed violently, a strange, guttural noise escaping him as he slumped forward, his heavy, lifeless weight collapsing directly onto me.
