Daryl’s own voice broke through: “Killian— don’t— let go—” And then the Prisoner roared, using his body like a weapon, flinging Killian backward into the crypt wall hard enough to crack stone.

And all she could do now was defend. She could see that this new attack carried twice the amount of power compared to the one earlier. And that meant that she couldn’t just handle this with her inner energy coat. So she countered with a skill she didn’t need to prepare herself to execute. A special skill much like Silver’s Distort. It was called Sonic Blast. Opening her mouth widely, she inhaled a sharp breath of air, and then violently coughed out this air. But what came out wasn’t a gust of wind. What was returned was a powerful blast that struck against Mane’s blades and did exactly what the skill was named – cause a blast!

He whispered into his ear but to Alexander, it was as if someone was speaking into his mind. "Alexander, rise up and stand like the great man that you are," Nomar whispered, his voice booming in Alexander's mind. Alexander was not his charge so he could interfere in his affairs. He had used one of his magic abilities to send his voice into Alexander's mind. He was only doing it to help Beatrice because he knew that if Alexander was strong, he would make Beatrice strong too.

A whole year has passed in a blink of an eye. I have been busy going from territory to territory to subjugate monsters and cementing the image I have as a saintess. That blinding light flowing from the gods through me and against the necromancer was blinding hot. Even my vision blurred as this force left my mouth. It got hotter and stronger.
