SEBASTIAN The whispers returned, slithering through the shadows of my room. They weren't mere echoes of the past; they were vivid, tangible, as if the walls themselves murmured secrets. Each night, they grew louder, more insistent. I jolted awake, drenched in sweat, heart pounding like a war drum. The remnants of a nightmare clung to me: Dove's face contorted in rage, the shattering of glass, the sting of regret.

Right before my eyes, he slit her throat. "Mom!" I yelled in horror at the scene. "Kace, Kace, dude calm down," Rough hands shook me and I jolted awake. My vision was blurry at first but then I made out Sonny's face looking down at me "You look like you just ran a marathon," he said and chuckled. "Aren't you a little too old to be having nightmares?" "Sonny," I said rubbing my face with the palm of my hands. " What are you doing in my room?"

Jake was awakened a couple of hours later to Sonya crying and screaming “No” in her sleep. She was having a nightmare and Jake assumed it was about what happened earlier at the office. Jake sat Sonya up and yelled at her “Sonya baby get up”. When she didn’t, he started shaking her lightly to get her to wake up.

The room was soundproof, I couldn't even hear the noise from outside. My food was slid inside by a hole in the door. I was alone with my thoughts and I hated it. I had a lot of nightmares at night now, I kept seeing my parents dying. I dreamt that Luciano had been killed by Sebastiano. I had woken up screaming when I had that nightmare.

“You, you are a monster? Please don’t do this to me. Ahh! It hurts.” With that harrowing scream still resonating in his mind, Jason woke up from this nightmare. “Who is he? What is his relationship with me?” Banging his fist on his forehead, Jason questioned himself. He was having nightmares after his sire change, the gleeful voice of a young body turning into heart-wrenching shrieks were haunting his sleep. He changed his sleep schedule and worked his ass off to lose his consciousness, but this memory of the past didn’t leave him alone.

Stella replied quickly feeling shy already. Later at night David heard some uncomfortable sound and decided to raise his heard and see what's happening. He saw Stella having a nightmare. "No... No... No... Mom, Dad wake up don't go please... don't leave me here alone please..." David heard everything and was confused as to why she was mentioning her parents names. This beast stood a bit bigger than the others, and was the one sporting black fur. Two of the grey creatures brought him gory bits of Roman soldiers. One held a leg, the thigh end glistening in the moonlight. The other tossed a head up and down in its hands like a child playing with a ball. The black haired creature snatched the head from the grey monster’s grasp, and bit into it like a man would an apple, and threw it to the ground. The big thing smacked its lips so loud those in hiding could hear it.

He woke up gasping for air, drenched in sweat, his heart drummed like a machine gun. The last thing he remembered was his dad choking him against the wall, he tried to pull his hand off his neck but his tiny arms gave way. He hadn't had those nightmares in a while, not after Charlie. He curled up in his bed, feeling like a little boy again, all alone in the dark. Fear paralyzed him, when he looked at the clock on the bedside, it was only 10 minutes after 4 AM.
