The man is always snapping at someone. Harold smirks at him in reply before turning to Lydia, “What pack did you come from?” “What part of not your concern do you not understand?” Gray tells him. “Besides you should not be asking that kind of question,” Ray speaks up. “What, is it touchy topic for rogues or something?” Harold asks. “Are you not a rogue?” Lydia asks. Harold laughs, “Me, no I’m just really good friends with this asshole. I guess you can call me a rogue supporter or a rogue by association.”

Just then, a man pushed through the crowd and stepped in front of Derek. “Alpha, give the word—we’re ready.” It was his Beta, voice calm but filled with authority. Kelvin froze, as if struck by lightning. “What… what did you call him? Alpha?” he stuttered. Derek tilted his head, smirking. “Do you doubt the existence of the Rogue Pack?” Kelvin didn’t answer. His lips moved but no words came out. Alex, still seated, looked stunned. “Wait… that Rogue Pack? The one that’s invaded territory after territory over the past years? The one with the mysterious Alpha no one has ever seen?”

Hunt untied the rope from around my hands and once they were free, I rubbed the red rings around my wrists. "So can I leave?" I stood up and as I tried to move around him to get to the door, he caught my wrist and pulled me back. "I can't let you leave." "Why not?" My voice was laced with annoyance. "I did not do anything wrong." "Unfortunately I make a lot of decisions but my pack won't like knowing that we have a rogue on our hands and I'm about to let her loose, especially with all the attacks going around. For all we know," Hunt stepped closer. "You could be the wild rogue just trying to talk yourself out of a sticky situation."
