I replied, keeping my voice level despite the anger simmering in my chest. Elise's eyes flashed with something dark and dangerous. For just a moment, I felt a surge of power from her… something that didn't quite feel like Luna energy. Something stronger. But it was gone before I could blink twice. and Elise's smile returned, cold and calculating. "May the best Luna win," she said, the words sounding more like a threat than a pleasantry. When Serenity got out of the car with Sonny in her arms, Elisa looked even happier. She walked over and took Sonny from Serenity’s arms.
