“T-There…there…” Because he sounds so uncertain and confused, I found it impossible to continue crying. It is painful and embarrassing to listen to him try so hard. “You suck at this, Xander.” “You…!” His cheeks redden with embarrassment. “I was comforting you!” I sit up and dust myself. “Yeah, you did a good job.” “At least I got you to stop crying.”

I feel the little tingles and I nuzzle into the warmth as I feel the vibration from the soothing rumbling sound. I slowly become aware that the sound I'm hearing is a croon and the warmth and tingles are Xavier. My eyes snap open and they meet the red eyes of Godric. I quickly realized that he's holding me in his lap with my head resting against his chest, my ear pressed against it as he croons. I look next to him and see Aiden sitting there looking at me anxiously with his hand on my knee. I look back up into the red eyes of godric and I feel the tears run down my face as I start crying. I turn my face and bury it in his chest as I grab onto his shirt and cry.

Millie continues "take his money, take his job, take his happiness, take his soul. It still won't be enough to pay back what he did to you" Tears roll down her cheeks and her vision becomes clear again. He wielded silence like a blade, slicing through the tension. "Many would kill for a son, but not me. Bella is perfection." The admission, raw and naked, stripped bare the facade. "Is that why you were crying?" His father prodded further. "No, damn it! Something in my fucking eye," Xavier growled, the clink of ice against glass punctuating his frustration. "Your tears are your own, boy. It's okay to cry." A soft encouragement from the man carved from stone. "Father..." Xavier's voice trembled. "I fear for them. Without my girls... I’m nothing."

Xavier starts to worry more. "Argh!" Xavier screams in agony. "Cole... please." He begs, Cole's shirt now wet from all Xavier's tears. "Fuck!" Xavier stands up and clutches at his hair, angry and sad. He feels everything, all too much at once. He claws his hair and skin. He screams, silently, and just sits there. "What the fuck am I waiting for?" He exclaims. "It's okay Xavier." The voice says smoothly. Xavier comes to his senses and composes himself.

“Try harder! Any potion to weaken the curse! Any spell to undo it!” They shook their heads. “It's beyond our capacity, Luna.... We're so sorry....” Tears flowed freely from my eyes. A stab of pain pierced my chest, spreading throughout my body. I couldn't do anything but freeze. Xavier placed me in his arms. I cried silently. Only the sound of the girls' sobs filled the air. “Hey.” “Papa!” “Why are you crying?” Xander asked in a thin voice, his hand trembling as he reached for Jasmine's cheek. “Are you alright?”

Xander's voice boomed; Kyle was puzzled but still listened to Xander slamming the door behind him. "Why did you do that?" Xander asked as soon as the doors closed, his soft gaze broke it. I started crying, the tears streaming down. Xander was dumbfounded as to why I was crying; he opened his arms, beckoning me to come in. Which I did entering into his arms to cry. "I am sorry, I truly am. I know an apology won't fix what he did. What I did." Xander apologised, and I trembled, sobbing more.

But reality was more brutal than any dream. “I’m very sorry, Jaan,” Xander’s voice trembled as he gently kissed my forehead, his eyes glistening with moisture. My emotions were so raw, it felt like I would burst. I could no longer contain my anguish. I unleashed a blood-curdling scream, allowing my grief to surge forth and engulf me. I don’t remember how long I cried, but I could sense Xander’s arms enveloping me the entire time.

Tears of helplessness rained from my eyes. "Xavier," I yelled at him. But, my voice didn't reach him. It resounded in the woods and then deafening stillness. It's like the air and woods swallowed the sound of my voice. I yelled again but nothing. My throat started stinging from screaming but no one was hearing anything. A loud evil laugh resonated in the air. I stopped my movement and looked up.
