Unless they had some sort of magical powers or brute strength, Old Dick Jones would have definitely heard them. The words were faint but distinct. My heart raced. Was I losing my mind, or was there something more to these whispers? I stood up, brushing the dirt off my jeans, and took a few steps back. The whispers grew louder, more insistent.

I cover my ears not wanting to hear her voice and close my eyes making her go away. Opening my eyes after a few second I don't see Sasha anymore but do see movement to my left, turning my now sore haed to the side I see Veronica taking slow light steps toward the front door.
