I replied to him, staring at Seliora. I could not particularly explain what I felt at the moment. Aila was weak, her silver hair falling across her face, her hands clasped with those of Isaiah and Isaac. None of us wanted to hear it, but Sora didn’t need to be told twice. She walked in the back, too busy flirting with some guys, running her hands over their muscles and offering them sips of her water. They all seemed to be enjoying the attention just fine. Even though the crate in my hands wasn’t the heaviest, my hands were still aching. Still, I wasn’t planning to let go. No matter what she do, Minerva seemed to not see the end of it. If she was curious about something, Sora could easily answer it to her; not unless it was something that he was restricted to tell to.

"Who are you?" One of the figures stepped forward into the dim, flickering light of a bioluminescent moss growing on the tunnel walls. It was a woman, her skin mapped with glowing white veins that matched the color of her eyes. She wore a tattered Lagos-style headwrap, but it was reinforced with carbon-fiber plating. "We are the ones your mother forgot to finish," she said, her voice a hollow, metallic echo. "They call me Sora. And if you’re wearing that stone, it means the countdown has already begun."

"But how do we perform this spell? And where can we find it?" Isolde produced a worn, ancient tome from the folds of her robes. The book's pages were yellowed with age, and its cover bore strange symbols that seemed to writhe and shift. "I've had this for years, Baros, waiting for the right moment. The spell is within these pages, but it's intricate and dangerous. That's why I need your expertise. Together, we can unlock its secrets." After Vernon left, I decided to kill time in the library for a while. It wasn't long that I was reading alone. My solace was quickly interrupted by Sora's sudden arrival. I raised my stare for her monolid circular eyes that are now lined with worry, and her protruding lips that are ajar from panting. Even her paper white skin is now ghostly pale which told me she carries bad news. "I was calling you." Her voice, although kept hushed, is unstabled. "I'm sorry..I was busy." I said guiltily. I even hid the Pride and Prejudice book as it's not a good reason to be busy enough.
