But as Laila looked up at the dark, vaulted ceiling of the cavern, she felt a sudden, sharp spike of ice pierce the back of her brain. It wasn't a frequency from the engines, and it wasn't a memory of the ancestors. It was a message from across the eastern ocean a deep, low vibration that carried the scent of cherry blossoms, sulfur, and the unmistakable, suffocating clicking of a billion Soul-Eaters waking up beneath the mountains of Japan.

In an instant, he was inside Two's Soul Scape. The Soul Scape was an immaterial Dimension inside one's self. Adding Ion Energy into it, allowed it to turn corporeal once the Cultivator reached the Correct Realm to do so. Better than carrying any pouches or sacks for that matter. But since it was connected to one's soul the destruction of the Soul would destroy all the items inside. It also required the nurturing of Ion Energy.

"My soul? Is that what she did to me? Do you know what it is called?" I hit send and after a few seconds the computer dings again and this time the email reads, "It's the Soul Eater. Surviving off of our souls, she gets everlasting life and the only way to get yours back, is to kill her. She has been around for thousands of years and will continue to take people's souls unless someone stops her." Typing one more reply, I send it and a notification comes up, "Unable to send. Please try again."

The woman nodded and left. Soul seeds were extremely rare thus can only be found in Ebilor, where a single soul tree lives, its golden seeds stayed on the soul tree and could only be plucked by the Merelf Elder who had imprinted with the tree. Only desperate times required soul seeds and knowing Naga had requested she buy the seeds meant her son's life was gravely endangered. *********

She whispered the last sentence. “Just don't forget, the Inner Realm does not have continents. There are only Outer Side, Center Side, and Inner Side. There is a lot of ancient clan and sects.” Luis took out something from his bookshelf. “Here's a map for that forest.” Soheila looked at the old map that he gave. She put the map in his spirit ring and smiled at Luis. “Thank you, Clan Master! Thank you for the help!” Luis sighed and smiled. “Thank YOU, Soheila, and to your friends as well for helping us win the competition. Thank you for the help last time.”

After Sylvio arranged a defensive formation, his soul immediately entered The Spirit Cage. Once a soul reached Overlord Realm, it could enter and exit The Spirit Cage at will and without restrictions. As Leila's longest-lived and most knowledgeable person, Sylvio knew The Spirit Cage very well. In fact, The Spirit Cage was not a virtual world, but a weapon of primal chaos. ****okay so last chapter Devon got a little frisky with Jennifer. This chapter is all about her and how her feelings for Jennifer developed. I said as I meet his eyes and I saw the glint of sadness and loneliness as he smiled at me and then turned around to gather his things. When he took his leave, I sat there looking at Cassidy, and for a moment, I let myself feel the familiar sadness and loneliness. Regretting my decision and wish that I could spend more days with Devon, as me, as Hannah, and not us someone else. Suddenly, I felt my heart aching, Lucy's heart seemed to stop beating.
