BETRAYED BY HER BLOOD, CLAIMED BY THE NIGHT

BETRAYED BY HER BLOOD, CLAIMED BY THE NIGHT

She blinked ten feet to the left, but Phuwin was already there, his obsidian sword coming down in a vertical cleave that shattered the floor where she had stood a millisecond before. "You can't run forever, Sofia! Every time you blink, the blade eats a little more of your resonance!" Phuwin shouted, his breath coming in ragged gasps. "You’re a battery, and I’m the leak!" "I’m not running, Phuwin. I’m leads," Sofia replied. She felt the sapphire light in her chest pulsing, fighting against the parasitic drain of the sword. She realized she couldn't win a duel of speed. The Void-Blade was designed to counter the very essence she had become. She had to change the game.

Witching: Her Trial, His Error

Witching: Her Trial, His Error

he said. I looked towards the entrance of the gym as Blade walked through it. Blade is a Seer and he has been with my pack since I was a pup. He isn’t a shifter but he pledged his life to my father once he became of age to do so. Before then he was under my father’s protection and now I’ve taken on that pact. He is one of my best friends. His position isn’t normal, as a Seer is usually a female. It's for that reason he is doing his own research on his background. For now he can keep his privacy on it so long as his safety or the packs’ isn’t in jeopardy. He walked over to where we were sitting with his hands in his suit pockets. “I knew I’d find you two in here. Drills weren’t enough to driv

The White Rose Of Damnation

The White Rose Of Damnation

Hours did not exist. Then the dark blade arrived. A new figure moved forward, silent and gliding. Its skin looked like wax mixed with ash. In its hand was a thin long dagger that trembled with a power of its own. The Soulcleaver. The Voice stood beside it. “The flame hides in you like a child in the womb,” the Voice said softly. “But it is not yours. It is ancient. Dangerous. It belongs to the Shadow. We will take it from you and give it shape again. Pure.”

Sword of blood

Sword of blood

I let out a breath I had not realized I was holding. But if he was not here for that, what did he come here for? “I want you to get a blade for me” he continued, overlooking the balcony and the stables below from a distance with his eyes. When I still remained silent, he carried on “the vendor must not know you’re from the castle or have any connections with us. All you’re permitted to say is that you need an enchanted blade for protection. There’s a chance he would bring out the specific blade I seek with the rest of his collection. You would purchase the blade and return to the castle. If the blade is not among the pile he displays to you, press further and if he does not give in, purchase

MEND ME IF YOU CAN.

MEND ME IF YOU CAN.

If you open it, you’ll lose yourself completely. Soren’s blade glowed white-hot, the runes along its edge blazing with divine fire. He looked at Elara — the woman who still believed in him despite everything — and at Kaius — the friend turned enemy who once shared his soul. “Then maybe that’s what it takes,” he whispered. He lifted the blade high. The world seemed to slow. The Boundless One’s hand reached higher, clawing for the mortal plane. And with a cry that split the heavens, Soren drove the sword into the earth.

Soul Bonding

Soul Bonding

My fate was sealed—and they would make sure I never forgot it. So much so, that when a moan escaped my lips, Pavel resumed his movements, sending another shockwave into my soaked core. The force of it knocked the breath out of me. Alexei didn’t hesitate, following suit and filling me at the same time. My body tensed, caught between two storms—one fierce, the other lethally controlled. They moved in sync, an inhuman rhythm that dragged me past the brink of sanity as they took me, touching every inch of my exposed skin.

Soulbound

Soulbound

“We are all in pain. That does not excuse what it has become. Mercy will not cleanse it.” The shard pulsed violently, as if mocking them both. Shadows surged again, thicker and sharper, forcing Kael to step in front of her. His blade blurred, cutting through tendrils with ruthless efficiency. Avery steadied herself, ignoring the ache in her lungs, and swung her scythe to cover his flank. Together, they carved a desperate retreat, step by step, away from the shard’s heart. Every swing felt heavier, every tendril faster. The soul was enraged now, its focus locked on Avery.

Fated by fire and fortune

Fated by fire and fortune

Behind it lay the Lunaris Blade—a weapon forged by the first Moon Blessed, imbued with the essence of starlight and sorrow. Selene had never touched it. Until now. She whispered the incantation, voice steady. The runes flared to life. The door groaned open. And the chamber beyond seemed to hold its breath. There, atop a stone pedestal, lay the blade—its hilt wrapped in lunar silk, its edge gleaming faintly as if lit from within. The moment her fingers closed around it, a wave of energy surged up her arm—pain and clarity in equal measure. Visions danced behind her eyes: fire, fangs, Lucian’s smile twisted in triumph… and a throne of bone rising from ash.

His Soul

His Soul

He lacked inner peace. He inhaled the vinous smoke as the corner of his lips twitched in a sad smile. His eyes deceived him being moist and a lone tear slipped down his face on the sand. The sand sucked the water as soon as it fell on it, and he wondered if his pain disappeared in thin air like that. He breathed out a puff of smoke through his nose and mouth. Looking up at the sky with the sad smile plastered on his face he spoke up, "Why so hatred for me, ya Rab?"

Guardians of the Stones. Earth-Air

Guardians of the Stones. Earth-Air

And the blue sapphire, as blue as the boundless blue of the sky, ruled over the irresistible element of water, which had the force to sweep away everything in its path. They called themselves the “Guardians of the Stones”

You can recognize good book from few pages. Paul White created amazing story with a soft touch of his own soul. The book is real deal! You can't stop reading it. Waiting for the second chapter, which I believe could bring even more action, love and adventures.
