I closed my eyes, forcing myself to calm down and shut my wolf. “Damn it.” I curled in pain after forcefully subduing my wolf. The pain was immeasurable. It was like I was being torn apart from the inside. We were taught how to subdue our wolves, but it wasn’t advisable to do frequently because it was believed to ruin our souls. It took almost an hour to recover, and it was still painful, but I could step out of the car to breathe. I feel suffocated until now, and my emotions are all over the place.

I plunge myself in reading, Writing, speaking, working, The pain, sorrow, misery, Hits back without any mercy. It’s as if my soul is ripped apart, My heart, hollowed by a dart. I talk, laugh, crack jokes, smile, But they never reach up to my eye. Life was sucked out of me, The moment you set me free, Success, triumphs, achievements, meaningless, The longing for you in my life is endless.
