ARIADNE Am I asleep? Am I dreaming? Nothing makes sense. I feel like I am floating. Oh, wait I hear voices. Whispering. I can’t make out what they say. I try to speak. Nothing comes out. I focus on my hearing again. A nerve-wracking, continuous noise rings in my head. Beep. Beep. Beep. I focus on that. What could it be? I hear voices again. Two people are speaking. “She’s waking up.” A deep masculine voice echoed in my ears.

She nestled into the soft pillows, her expression shifting as she entered into a deeper slumber. Just as Asher was about to leave the room, Adina's sleep-induced muttering took on a distressing tone. He had initially believed she was awake, but it became clear that she was not. She began to speak of someone who had wanted her gone, who had unfairly judged her with derogatory words, and a baby she didn't know what to do with. Asher couldn't quite comprehend the context of her dream, but it struck a chord of familiarity, leaving him with an uncomfortable sense of recognition. It was as if he was hearing echoes of Adina's own experiences and his actions, and it left him deeply unsettled.

I quivered awake from bed in an heavy breath and perspiration all over my body. I gasped in and out making an heavy sound. I looked around the room, all in good state then I strained my hair to the back, face down as I dropped my elbow on my kneel. "Arrgh!" I growled, ruffled my hair, whimpered, and gasped continuously again trying to recover from the horrible nightmare. I made a throaty sound as I heard the sound of a twist in the door.

◇PARV POV◇ I wanna wake up and at the sametime I dont wanna wake up my head is aching like hell I felt I'm sleeping on something soft and something in my mouth I moved and seen its sarah I'm sleeping on her and she is naked what happened to her I'm also naked no no did I do something wrong I seen her body is full of bite marks I tried to wake her "Sarah sarah" she is not opening her eyes I'm sure I might be forced her how I should face you sarah why I became like this

CRYSTAL POV A very melodic sound, slow and unbothered slithered through the haze of my deepest slumber, slicing through the serene fog of my subconscious and gruesomely pulling me back to the cruel land of the living. The steady vibration of the phone creeping across the hardwood top of the bedside table was unmistakable despite how much I succumbed to sleep. “Make it stop.” A deep groan left my throat, causing my forehead to scrunch in confusion at how raspy and parched my voice sounded.

After calming their breaths, they both fell into deep sleep. Jasper tossed and turned in his sleep, plagued by nightmares that seemed too real, too vivid. One particular dream stood out. He was in a cozy, intimate room, with soft lighting. In the dream, Luna was with him, her soft voice telling him everything would be okay. He could hear the sound of her laughter, her familiar presence that had once been a source of comfort to him.

Sierra Sleep never showed up. It lurked on the border of my vision, close enough to taste, then evaporated every time I closed my lids. Each time I made an attempt, the same visuals pushed back in. The hearing room. Sebastian’s calm smile. Asher all by himself. At some point, I stopped pretending and got out of bed. The dorm was still in that special, immutable way just beyond midnight’s reach, all the day’s bustle bled away. My phone buzzed just once, in my hand.

Y one final time whether we could meet. He refused again, saying he was busy with work and maybe another time. I steeled myself and sent the message I had prepared. "Darling, if we can't meet and I can't even hug or kiss you, we should just break up." I blocked him without a second thought. After the breakup, no one lulled me to sleep at night. My sleep deteriorated sharply, and the nightmares came one after another. In my dreams, a secretary led me to his office. I pushed open the heavy door alone and found nothing but darkness.

* Jane Dankworth * I did not notice the exact time I fell asleep, until the memories of what happened came to haunt me in dreams. A scream, coming from me escaped my throat, though in the dream, I couldn't tell it was me until the echo broke through the dark. I was again back in that office, the shadows bending like hands reaching for me. There was a smear of blood on the glass, my heels slipping against the floor, and someone was shouting my name but I couldn't find the door.

Laura POV Tonight, I couldn’t sleep. I’ve barely managed a couple of hours each night for the past four weeks. Most start nightmares that torment my mind until the dream changes, and instead of being terrified, I am comforted. It’s an odd sensation that I don’t understand. I hear the calmness of the waves and the gentle breeze over a mountaintop. Every night, it’s something different. A new place. A new. I don’t fight them. I submerge in the images, and I’m grateful when I finally settle into a dreamless sleep.
