I cover her with a thin blanket that's already on the couch and I push the hair out of her face. She starts snoring and says something in her sleep I can't quite make out. ******* After watching a few episodes of the Simpsons. I hear Morgan yawn, next to me. She stretches her arms and legs. When she sits up on the couch her eyes widen. Did the spell work?

“Sonny will be caring for his young cousins. He’s like my sister and has an older sibling’s demeanor.” “Indeed. Time to sleep. If you’re still not sleepy, help me with something, okay?” Serenity replied hesitantly, “I’m sleeping, I’m falling asleep.” She closed her eyes, claiming to be asleep. With a soft chuckle, Zachary teased. “Even talking in your sleep now, huh?” “I’m sleep-talking.” Zachary playfully nibbled at her lips before cuddling her and both of them drifted back to dreamland. They had a peaceful night.

He rarely sleeps at nights cos whenever he does, he gets night terrors, so he's always sleep-deprived for days or weeks. Loula shares her room with Violet. Hazel's room is quite spacey than others. Aaron is supposed to sleep on the couch as Hazel and Asher will sleep on the bed. But because of too tired, Aaron and Asher fall asleep on the bed. When Hazel walks in, she stared at his tired face. She then takes a shower and rests on the couch. Zac’s pov I woke up to the bright light from the window as I groaned and stretched. The second thing was the sound. Quiet, even breathing. I’d spent half the night on that stupidly small couch listening to it, before I finally passed out. I sat up, my back cracking in about six different places. Moon, that couch was awful. I would have to change it. I looked over at the bed. They were still there. Both of them. Freya was curled on her side, one arm still over Zara, who was sprawled out like a little starfish. They were still sleeping. They needed it. After all they had gone through last night, this was their rest time.

They jumped and spun before my eyes until they smeared into a congealed mess. "I'm sorry, Sylvia, I…" I pinched my thigh, trying to stay awake. Sylvia closed the book and patted my shoulder gently. "It's okay. You're too tired. Get some sleep first. We can continue after you wake up." I practically collapsed onto the desk and fell into a deep sleep.

“Get up, shower, shave, and get dressed. Be down here in 20 minutes, or I will come after you with more than a wooden spoon.” Both Teddy and I rush. “We have 30 seconds,” Teddy declares, jumping from the top of the stairs to the bottom. “Teddy!” Sophie yells. “You could have broken your neck.” “But I didn’t,” He smirks. “Where is my girl?” “At breakfast,” Tony tells him. “You slept in.” “I slept on the couch,” Teddy tells them. They both give him a confused look. “Zane and I fell asleep on the couch.” Now they have raised eyebrows.

“We won’t have a hope of getting out of here tomorrow if we stay up all night being nervous and frustrated. Let’s all try and get some sleep.” I suggest that everyone shift into their animal forms to sleep, but Zach is still too woozy and hurt to shift, and Jasper wants to stay sharp in his preferred form. So Orsina becomes a bear, I become a wolf, and together we curl our bodies around the two cousins. Soon, the trailer is filled with the soft slow breaths of Jasper and Zach sleeping. Then I hear Orsina, snoring through her bear snout. Finally, I feel myself drifting off to sleep, hoping and praying that tomorrow will bring more options for freedom.

Mara’s POV Sasha showed up at 8am, bringing her own homemade coffee in a travel flask, fueled by the energy of someone who had already been up for three hours getting things done and couldn’t be bothered with those who hadn’t. I’d been awake since six. Not because of Thursday — or not just because of Thursday. Because of that specific type of sleep that occurs after a night when something has shifted for good, a kind of sleep that’s shallower than normal and interrupted by a mind that keeps surfacing to see if the event is still real.
