The Arrival of a Warm Spring

The Arrival of a Warm Spring

I was sick of arguing with them. Belinay grabbed me by the arm and snatched the urn from me in an instant. A warning bell went off in my head. I held out my hand and shouted, “Give it back to me! Give me back the ashes!” Belinay pushed me away. Her eyes were filled with disappointment. When she bent down to open the jar, she discovered the seal was completely unbreakable. Hubert’s friend snorted coldly. “If you can’t open it, then smash it! Let’s see what’s inside!”

Anything For You

Anything For You

Akhim and Egon both chuckled at those irritated expressions of this cute little sparrow, and followed it outside. Crossing the lake side, and the residential area of village, following that little paper sparrow, they stopped when the creature stopped flapping it’s wings and came to rest on Egon’s shoulder. Watching them both frown their eyebrows, the creature whispered besides his ear, “We have arrived. You can go in the house. I was supposed to carry you only to the entrance. Now rest of the path is yours to follow.” Saying those words, the little paper sparrow flew up, and then turned to ashes which got blown away by

Midnight Whispers

Midnight Whispers

So tired that I just wanted to sleep for eternity. The steam was filling the room in a wet cloud. I morphed the clouds into animals having them float around the room. I smiled as a raven swooped around made just of clouds. Such a beautiful bird it was... A knock sounded from the door. I closed my eyes not moving to open it. “Valerie open the door or I am coming in.” Justin spoke. My mind was elsewhere. I would probably never leave this castle. Jumping out the window may be better than fighting against fate. If I was lucky the wind would catch me and bring me far away to safety. Far far away.

THE SPARE LUNA

THE SPARE LUNA

The door closed behind him. I slid down the wall until I sat on the floor. My body ached. The mark burned. And something new and strange was moving under my skin, heightened senses, a sudden deep hunger, a restless heat I had never felt before. I still had no idea what it meant. I was still sitting there when my phone rang. I stared at it for a second, then picked it up. A familiar voice came through the line. “Malia? Is it true? You’re married to a Blackridge?”

If you are looking for a really good book I recommend you this one. It’s such a good book that I read the whole thing in one day because I couldn’t put it down. I also love that the author gives us daily updates so you never have to wait long for the next chapter.

Splintered (A shattered wolves novel)

He whispered. A million thoughts were running through my head, I was angry, I was sad, hurt… but most of all, I think I felt joy- something I hadn’t felt in years. There it was again, that invisible strand of electricity that ran straight to my chest whenever I was around Bennett, I didn’t know my wolf yet, but I had a very strong feeling that this was the beginning of the mate bond. “Aurora will you please say something. Anything.” Bennett pleaded, he looked almost broken.

The Alpha & The Harpy

The Alpha & The Harpy

They often got on well enough to know about each other, or at the very least, entertain mutual and civil respect for one another. Samuel and I knew well enough that there was no Sparrow Harpy Clan. Such a thing didn't exist. The closest to this was the Hawk Harpy Clan, which had sparrow hawks within that clan, but they were very different and no Harpy bore a shifter's mark either. This young Sparrow was a true sparrow shapeshifter, and this hoard of Dark Ones had cut off one of her wings at such a young age. If she had ever flown before, being so young, she might have before now... yet if she had? Unfortunately, she would never again feel the joy of flight.

Revenge of the Alpha's Bratty Daughter

Sparrow didn’t care; however, he relished the time he got to spend with his beautiful nerdy hybrid mate. Once Raven loosened up and got past the rejection she felt from Sparrow, she became more lively around him. She was a master at horrible dad jokes, but Sparrow laughed at every single bad pun and poorly timed punchline. She was adorable in every way and a breath of fresh air. She didn’t shirk away from his physical appearance; she embraced him and his scars.

I wondered. “Nowadays, sparrows are believed to symbolize joy, community, teamwork, protection, simplicity, hard work, or self-worth. This hasn't always been the case, however. In Europe's Middle Ages, sparrows were believed to represent peasants and the lower class. In old Celtic tradition, sparrows were thought to be keepers of ancestral knowledge.” I became engrossed by her words and dared not interrupt her.

For a beginner, you did very well. kept the interest and attention of going on to the next chapter. there were some mistakes but none that can't be fixed. other than that I thought it was a great story. however, the chapters could've been a smidge longer for how much they cost. job well done!...

The Pack's Rebels

Sparrow had a blonde woman with him, and she slid Aislen a sideways glance as she picked up the bedpan and carried it out with her. “Hello again Aislen,” Sparrow smiled at her pleasantly. “You’ve been renovating your cell?” “A girl needs some privacy,” Aislen retorted. “Hmm. Well put it back on the same side, away from your neighbor, hmm? She’s violent.” “She’s terrified of you,” Aislen commented mildly. “Everyone in here is. Did you torture them too, like you did to Heath?” “Heath Gale… Cost me some very good people,” Sparrow replied grimly. “Some of my best. Charlotte McKenzie…” He shook his head. “It was a terrible tragedy, and I will find the vampires who were responsible for the destruc
