MIA'S POV As I delicately turned the worn pages of the Book of Enchantments, my eyes widened in disbelief. Each incantation revealed a darker secret, a more malevolent power than the last. The ancient script described spells that could rend the very fabric of reality, summon creatures from the shadows, and manipulate minds with a mere whisper. My heart quickened as I stumbled upon a page filled with vicious curses, each word practically dripping with malice. Magic is using essence and energy to apply change to the outside world. Essence comes from the body composed of blood and cells while energy refers to the elements such as fire and lightning. Soul power can also be categorized in the energy section. When a practitioner cast magic, he just wields the essence and energy to whatever form he wills like simple fireballs and ice cones; easy and nameless. But spells needs an activation code to use such as "Fire art, Heavenly Conflagration" and "Ice art, Freezing Abyss". In literal terms, magic has no system but spells is systematic.
