Spicy Hot
It is the sound of this hunger, become a howl.
I bury my face in the hollow of her neck, inhale her skin. The scent of the restaurant, of the night, fades, replaced by her fundamental essence, the one I know, the one that belongs to me. Salty, sweet, with that note of warm skin and desire unique to her. My mouth finds the pulse at the base of her throat. I feel the blood beating there, a hurried gallop answering the insane pounding in my own chest. I take that skin between my teeth. Not a bite. A claim. The pressure of my incisors, the promise of a mark.
