She led us to a low couch near the fire. We sat. She sat opposite us—hands folded in her lap. “What brings you here, my queen?” she asked softly. Dimitri and I exchanged a glance. They're probably busy with something in their bedrooms," she replied casually, sitting opposite me on the floor. Sitting appeared uncomfortable for her.

Gwen sighed and then drank the potion. We all looked at Gwen to see if anything was happening, but it didn't work.
