CHAPTER 14 BROKEN AIDEN I sit alone in the west garden playing with my favorite spider man toy. It's late afternoon, father is at work and mother is passed out drunk as always. These few hours are the only time I can enjoy some semblance of peace. I imagine that one day I would wake up with extraordinary powers, powers strong enough to heal my mother and make my father young forever so that we can become a happy family. The steady sound of footsteps echo loudly around me resounding inside my brain, making my heart tremble with fear; mother is awake! I quickly throw spider man behind a bush, “sorry spider man.” I whisper as I hurriedly stand to my feet.

Rose threatened, putting her hands on her hips just like Christine. "What?!" The boy cried in horror. "Aunty Rose, you wouldn't do that!" "You know I don't bluff, little man." Rose raised an eyebrow, threatening the young man. Reluctantly, Christopher jumped to the litter of sand on the floor and giggled. "I'm spiderman!"

I'm not certain yet. When everything's ready, I carry it all to the living room and put on my favorite movie, Spider-Man Homecoming. After the movie and dinner, I start watching Captain America. I fall asleep, and then my phone rings. I look at it and see "Charlie" on the screen. "Hello?" I'm still a bit sleepy and not fully awake. "Did you fall asleep?" they ask. "What? No. What's your address?" I change the topic, rubbing my eyes.

However, just as he was about to leave the scene, he heard a chuckling sound that made his scalp tingle. "Chee chee." He turned to face the direction of the sound and spotted a Humanoid Spider. The Humanoid Spider was slightly bigger than a bull, and its body was black and white. Its face was terrifyingly pale as if it was wearing a mask. Silently, Lucas thought that the spider was capable of scaring everybody back in Hatton. 'It is a spider, but it has a human face.' "I never expected a human to show up in my territory." The Humanoid Spider smiled arrogantly.

“Is it a monster?” Maxwell asked. “Is it Spiderman?” The innocent Aurora guessed. “Kiran, he was resurrected by dark energy, so we need enough light energy to kill him,” Serena warned. “Enough light energy? I’m going to smash him to pieces,” Kiran scoffed. Kiran roared fiercely, and with both his hands raised high, he unleashed a powerful attack against the black-haired monster. Naturally, the monster refused to surrender, so it immediately swung its hands to counter his attack.

Alex inquired. The old man smiled and said, "No. There are still things that you will have to do, that you can't run away from, but this particular task is your priority for now." Alex signed and said, "Wow! This is a lot to take in. So, when will I start preparing for it?" He asked, because he wanted to leave the town, as soon as possible after he was done with the claimed war. "First, you need to be introduced to the gods, since you have never had a connection with them before. "Of course they chose you, but they need to know that you are ready to carry the cross they have bestowed upon you." The old man clarified.

All the ends of the spider's legs have turned into armored spikes, its mouth is open wider than a spider’s mouth should be as it flashes rows and rows of black teeth. My arms fly up in defense. I scream the only thought that comes to my mind. “HEAL!” A blinding bright white and golden light bursts out of me sending Noroya flying in a tree as time returns back to normal. When I see her again, half of the spider’s body looks like it was charred by an explosion. It is crumpled at the bottom of a tree. Vertigo hits and I lose my balance. My knees hit the ground. ‘You need to get out of here. Now!’

Spider I picked it up immediately, pressing it to my ear. He only calls for one reason whenever he has a task at hand "Spider," I whispered, my eyes shifting to Tilda as Leo tightened his hand on hers dragging her out. I wanted to fucking yank that hand away from her but I had no right, do I? That's her man but... Fuck "Boss," Spider's voice snapped me back to reality making me groan "Speak," I spoke into the phone and I wasn't surprised to hear the next word he said. Like I said earlier leave it to Spider to fish out whosoever it is

He balanced himself on his toes and still had the watch in a countdown. He patted her head as she was on the floor shaking. “If you didn’t have too may drinks, this would have been slower” he said. “W-what are you talking about?” she asked softly. “Well poison that’s all” he patted her head again and then grabbed on and pulled her up, and put the timer in her face. “The venom of a Redback Spider causes all the symptoms you’re having now, and can kill a human under an hour. You ingested five to six doses and that could accelerate your death” he grinned.

The Eye of the Viewer, belonging to people who watched the story just to see it break. “The story is too slow!” a voice boomed from the lens, sounding like millions of people typing at once. “Delete the characters! Start a new plot!” The text threads under Maya’s feet started to melt. “Go! Move!” Julian called. Maya climbed faster. Pain stabbed her muscles. Her fingers bled from the sharp edges of the glowing words. She hauled herself onto Chapter 75. Suddenly, a giant shadow-spider leaped from Chapter 76, landing on Maya’s back.
