She moved toward the door, a few warning her. She jumped a bit when there was a sickening thud and half in the doorway this nasty looking spider creature was there. It was disturbing. It had an almost humanoid face with many eyes that were black. The body was brown and black. Like a large arachnid. It looked like Plato was on top of it and was biting down into the back of the neck. The thing was not completely dead. It was hissing and Plato was tearing at it as his wolf.

He leaped into the air swinging the halberd, and a gigantic shadow of the halberd appeared before hurtling downwards. The gigantic spiders did not even have the time to react before they were crushed by the halberd, the broken pieces of their body splattering around. The other surrounding spiders continued to feed on the corpses of the dead spiders. Three spiders took a step forward, launching an attack on Wilbur. The others spat out more webs, grabbing the two six-winged angels.

His dark exoskeleton clicked as six of his legs hit the floor, two of the shorter legs were couched near his body and his arms were almost as long as his legs. I froze, watching the sharp fangs that clasped in the front of his face horizontally. He could open and close them like pitchers. “Flowers,” I whimpered. Rolling over, I cringe with pain when I look at my abraided ankle, knees and hands. Swallowing hard, I look at the horrific sight before me. Spider-like creatures are crawling across the ceiling and surrounding me. It’s a horrific sight to see. The creatures look like large spiders, with spines on their backs, long taloned claws, and razor-sharp teeth. Their eyes are red, and saliva falls from their chelicerae as they gaze hungrily back at me. None dare to approach me. Instead, they pace around me, which is super confusing.

“His wing is broken.” His wings reminded me of a dragon fly, so fragile and sheer that I could see through them, threaded with delicate veins, and possessing a pearlescent sheen. The tip of this fairy man’s wing had become folded in the spider’s tangle and did not straighten. It did not appear to hurt the fairy, but I could not see how it would be possible for him to fly. I looked up at Rivyn. He was watching me with the oddest expression on his face. “You’d have been better off leaving him to the spider,” he replied, “he won’t survive with a broken wing.”
