Spidergirl Novels & Stories

Of course, every time the monster chased him and the distance between them closed, he threw the eggs at the spider woman, whose body was still that of a monster. SLASSSHHHH... BOOOOOMMM... "Bastard, evil human! I'll kill you," the spider monster threw its web at Xiao Chen, but he dodged it. "Damn eggs, I hope you really succeed in killing all of them!" Xiao Chen said, risking his life to lure the level eleven spider monster. Swisshhh...

I ended the call before he could finish that sentence. The scent of Ethiopian coffee and butter croissants greeted us when we arrived at the private lounge of Glow Jewelry. Hugo pulled out a chair for me, whispering, “I just want to make sure your finger is happy before the night comes.” Across from us, Madame Valeria Glow—a refined woman with silver hair and an ivory-white suit—opened a purple velvet box. Three ring designs were displayed: a pale blue oval sapphire flanked by baguette diamonds, a light yellow marquise set in rose gold, and lastly, a large colorless brilliant cut surrounded by a halo as delicate as morning dew.

“We’re definitely in the right place.” Something shifted above them. Riley’s head snapped up— Too late. The spider dropped. It hit the ground in front of them with a heavy impact, its massive body settling low as its legs spread outward, each one ending in hooked points that dug into the webbed floor. Its eyes glowed faintly. Watching. A red glow appeared above it. Verdant Broodmother — Level 15 (Boss) HP: one million Hayes let out a breath. “Yeah… that’s more like it.”

I just felt angry at both of them. I was looking at them while they looked at each other and then had a evil smirk on their lips. I gulped. "So, this bitch admits that we are no saints, right?" Greta chuckled. "She just did. And she herself admitted that she's no innocent puppy," Spider responded. "She wants to be known as Flamingo, Queen of Demon, right?" Greta responded, looking at me. "So, why don't she gets the treatment, a queen gets when she's on the mercy of her deadliest rival," Spider chuckled.

Either way, I wasn’t getting myself entangled in the mess I managed to escape. “I don’t lie about anything. I am anything but a liar, okay?” He sounded offended and even had to look away to hide his hurt or something. Just then, someone giggled from the back but when I turned, everyone had their straight poker face. The scandal was over online but I knew my reputation in school wasn’t changing from the stalker girl in any time soon. It would just be something I have to live with for the rest of my time in Marigold High, thank God I was a senior, graduate in a few months.

“Qualities like kindness, compassion, love and goodness of heart. No wonder some women were chosen to be Luna and not others.” She sprang to her feet. Her eyes were changing color. “And who the hell do you think you are to meddle in our affairs?” I let Uru come to the surface and she could see the change in my eye color as well. I can tell she was scared as she didn’t think I would fight her, being an outsider. But at the moment, I was ready to defend my friend, not minding any consequences. “Oh I’m sure you know who I am,” I said, standing up. This brought Calista out of her reverie. She stood up and was now in the middle though there was still a table separating us all.

A young pack member, no older than twelve, was backed into a corner, her terrified sobs cutting through the air. “Hey!” I shouted, drawing the spider’s attention. Its glowing yellow eyes snapped to me, and it let out a guttural hiss. Jake didn’t hesitate, leaping forward and slashing at one of its legs. The blade bit deep, and the spider reared back, shrieking in pain. “Go!” I yelled to the girl, motioning toward the hallway. She didn’t need to be told twice, scrambling past us as fast as she could. The spider lunged, and I threw up a wall of flame to block its path. It screeched, its legs skittering against the ground as it tried to circle around.

The living room was inside, and the bedroom was even further in, but Christine suddenly felt the fluctuations of magic, which immediately triggered the 'Mage Armour' on the magic ring on her left hand, and she immediately flew out of the room. But it was already too late. A huge spider web covered her, Nazan the mage and the maid. It was a second level spell called 'Spiderweb'. This spell can create many layers of tough, sticky silk threads. These threads are similar to spider silk, but much thicker and stronger. They will entangle living creatures within range.

I say and rather than laughing at me, like I thought she would, she gets a wide smile and looks up at me with her twinkling green eyes. "Really?" She asks and I nod. "I really am a nerd, just like your friend said." I say and she shrugs. "I'm pretty sure Henry Cavill plays that game and he's Superman so if that's what a nerd is, sign me up." She says with a sly grin that has me chuckling. "You're welcome to join anytime. It would be amusing watching those guys try to adapt to a girl." I say, grinning at the thought. "What? They don't talk to girls?" She asks and I shrug.

I haul myself over the top just a heartbeat after the ginger, and his face is a mask of disbelief. The wiry girl has already reached the next challenge: a series of spinning logs suspended over a pit of thick black mud. The ginger barrels through, using his bulk as a shield. The girl dances through them with fluid grace. I watch closely, searching for a pattern, a rhythm. I don’t try to match their speed; instead, I wait. When the gap opens, I make my move… not through, but under. I drop to the ground, sliding beneath the lowest log, mud splattering across my back. I’m up and running before it even passes. The wiry girl glances back, a flicker of respect in her eyes.
