Queen Luna: Once Rejected, Now Ruthless

The wolves circled, howling. Shadows weaved between them, humanoid but not—spirits twisted into flesh. They had faces like masks, pale and smooth, with gaping holes where mouths should be. They reached for us, fingers like knives.
I slashed through one, and though it bled smoke, it did not fall.
“Damned spirits,” I spat, parrying blow after blow. “You will not keep her from me!”
Blood sprayed across the mist. My arms ached, my breath came ragged, but I did not falter. Every strike, every roar, was fueled by a fire in my chest that would not die—the vision of her slipping further from me, vanishing into this cursed place.
