Spirit Wolf Names Novels & Stories

he pleaded “Black female wolf? No such thing. Who told you that?” “No, no, I swear it’s true. Her name was Tara she-” I drop him at his words and he stops talking My eyes widen and when I turn to see Brayt his face matches mine. The small alpha moves away from me. “That’s what she’s been doing” Bryat whispers to himself “Tell me more” I demand of him He flinches

Perla's gravelly voice brought her back from her fleeting memories. "Saul and Thiago were brothers that fought for the rights to be Alpha of the first White Creek pack" Perla sipped her coffee before continuing the story. Nueva listened eagerly to the details as she puzzled the pictures she had seen in the book together with the story, inside her head. "I saw a white wolf in the book is that my Eira?" Nueva interrupted Perla's storytelling. "Well, yes and no. We don't know enough about the Ice wolf to know if there is more than one." Perla tried to explain.

She seemed to come up with his name on her own almost as soon as I introduced him to her. “Ohhh, okay. Well, what if I tell you that my new friend Klay is Swagga’s human spirit?” I turn her in my arms to face him. “You know how Saint’s spirit is inside Uncle Bronx and Ghost’s spirit is inside Daddy? Swagga’s tiger spirit is inside Klay.” “Codi haf tiger spirit?” She points to her belly and looks at me hopefully. “Uh, I’m pretty sure you have a wolf spirit. She’s just sleeping until you turn seventeen.” I click my tongue between my teeth at the disappointing news.

Her spine curved in ways that should have been painful but she showed no sign of discomfort, only pleasure at finally being able to move her body the way she wanted. "This isn't a normal wolf," Caden breathed from beside me. "What is she?" "Spirit Wolf," Hela repeated though now her voice carried awe instead of concern. "I'd heard the descriptions but never thought I'd see one in person. They're not just powerful wolves, they're something other entirely. Something older than our modern packs."

There were gasps from the crowd as they looked at our wolves. “The original wolves of our kind were called Krosthani. The corruption killed off all of them except for my father and my uncle. I was the last born Krosthani of our kind. My father gifted me a wolf spirit the day I was reborn as a she-wolf, but she was just there to help protect me until I could protect myself.” She paused to let Phoenix join us. She gave everyone a wave, which caused much of the crowd to chuckle. She was definitely something unique and special alright.

“Our totum. Between your red hair and green eyes… well throw some fur on you and you could be our she-wolf.” I launched as I climbed onto the sled. “Shall we?” Makya obliged and mounted the back of the sled. As he mushed the team toward the family manor I asked over the noise, “Does the clan have a name for her? The Shewolf I mean.” “We call her Stella. She is seen most on the moonless nights when the stars are brightest.”

He gave me another book. “Spirit wolves,” I read this time. “That’s what our people called them.” “I never heard of a spirit wolf,” I said. “That’s because they are thought to be instinct.” “But you think Elaeya is one?” “I think she’s a hybrid of one,” he corrected me. “Okay,” I said closing the books. “Ball-park it for me.”

And I sure as shit don’t want to listen to it. “You can call me Whiskey” I said cautiously. “Whiskey?” he asked. His surprise is warranted. It’s a dumb nickname, but it’s better than the actual scientific name the hunters gave me. Viski Gol’f Dva (WG-02). Otherwise known as, Wolf-Girl Zero-Two. Pretty fucking dumb, and yet perfectly typical of the hunters to be so uncaring as to not even give their creation a name. “Whiskey” I confirmed with a nod of my head. He shrugged and stood up, brushing the dirt from his jeans.

I had never heard another sound besides the ones I made my self. “Oh, thank the goddess, I was afraid I had come too soon, and you weren’t yet of age! Hi! My name is Sapphire, I’m your wolf spirit.” The voice was happy, and energetic. I instantly liked her. Sapphire. “What is a name?” I asked curiously, making my ten paces back to my food and lowering myself to the ground. I picked my food back up and munched on it as I spoke with the voice in my head. Sapphire. It was a pretty word.

I know for a fact I won't use common names, whether the wolf likes it or not. With that, I go to another website. "Buddy, Rocky, Toby, Cody, Cooper, Bear, Rusty, Bentley, Louie, Sparky, Maximus. No, that's not it," I sigh, "Maybe I have to be more specific." I search for half an hour before I start reading the names slower to see how the wolf reacts. "Dragon. Emerson. Drew. Jayson. Raphael. Briar. Astro. Eclipse. Moon," he perks an ear, but it isn't good enough for me, "Not doing it for you either?" I heave another sigh as I click on another website.
