A Decade's Reunion

A Decade's Reunion

My girlfriend and I were reborn, returning to the cramped basement apartment we rented right after graduation. We silently walked out the door together, neither of us mentioning staying together. She went abroad with her childhood sweetheart to further her studies while I stayed behind, grinding away at my company. Seven years later, she became a rising young designer with a bright future and a happy family. I was still grinding away at the same company. When we met again, she clung to her childhood sweetheart's arm, looking down at my slightly disheveled state with a mocking smile. "Long time no see. How did you end up looking like a beggar?" I ignored her. However, later, when the powerful, world-renowned CEO of a top design firm clung to my arm, acting sweetly, her face twisted with panic. "Alex Prescott! How can you be so close with another woman?!"

This story has more reviews than the ones Good Novel is showing. The rating system is biased. This is a TOXIC STORY the male lead disrespects de female lead and very weak for a powerful billionaire. No romance just power. 3 Stars.

Savvy Son-in-law

Savvy Son-in-law

🏆[No.1 "Hard to Put Down" of "The Legendary Urban Man" Contest]🏆 A wife who thinks with her vagina and thinks the worst of her husband, a mother-in-law who twists words for her own benefit, a father-in-law who’s a multi-millionaire but is stingier than a beggar, and many more in-laws who can spew empty words much better than any popular politician out there. And there’s rarely anything they all ever agree on, except when it comes to mocking their one and only son-in-law to the point they put the workers in their villa above him. They take out all their frustrations on him and humiliate him to the bone and beyond at every possible opportunity. However, like the inevitable judgment day, the day their reality turns upside down inches closer, the same day when the wife’s ego gets eaten and the in-laws' faces turn ashen as a newborn calf’s first poop, and that’s just the start of a savvy show.

Am at latest chap. Drop this story. So pissed off wt FL stupd charcter. typical wife of SIL stories. None portrayed as smart, quick witted. Same trust issue, kept in the dark bout their husbands' true idtt. Cliché that I hate. Later lots of fc popping up out of nowhere seduce ML 4sure.

This is a very good book. The updates are not consistent. Maybe the author should concentrate on one or two stories at a time instead of updating the six unfinished books. As an active reader, this is frustrating, and it almost makes you want to stop reading.

Goodbye, My Alpha

Goodbye, My Alpha

Before Andrew and I formed our mate bond, I overheard him and his Wolven Clan brothers mocking me: "My Luna must serve my family and dedicate herself to the Blood Moon Pack." "Lina is obedient and devoted—she loves me with all her heart, keeps the pack running smoothly, and takes care of my mother. She works tirelessly, giving her all to my family." "However, Louise? She cherishes her dreams and craves freedom. She's a carefree spirit, meant for the vast open plains, not to be tied down and become a dull housewife." I did not argue or shed tears. Instead, I left the Blood Moon Pack without a word. Andrew assumed I was just sulking nearby, unaware that I had traveled far to the Northland. In the Northland, I not only rekindled my dreams but also found my true mate—the one who truly loves me. Now, I am his Luna Queen.

Out of nowhere, his younger brother, Christopher Scott, grabs my hand and plans to pull me straight to City Hall. He disregards my panicking eyes. "Let's get married," he says, as if it's the most normal thing in the world. Then, the stage decorations suddenly collapse, revealing a room full of guests mocking and laughing at me. The two men who once swore to love me forever do all just to make Erica smile. The three of them clink glasses and drink a love toast on stage, completely lost in their own moment. "The wedding you planned was way too outdated. You should thank Erica for turning it into a bachelorette party!" "The real wedding will be this Sunday. Isn't Erica's idea amazing?" When Love Burned to Nothing

When Love Burned to Nothing

The day Ken Bowen and I finalized the divorce, I walked out wearing only the outfit I had worn on our wedding day. I let Ken keep the house, the cars, the money, and the kids. He looked genuinely surprised, then let out a mocking laugh. "Are you sure about this? You raised the girls yourself, and you're just giving them up? If you really don't want anything, then you won't need to pay child support either. That's fair, right?" I signed the papers without hesitation and said calmly, "Yeah. That's fair." Ken paused, then slowly signed his name. "If you regret this later, you…" I lifted a hand and cut him off. I didn't look back as I walked out. Ken used to say I married him for money and status, that I used our three daughters to tie him down. Whatever. The day he saw my dead body, he would finally understand.

A Love Misgiven

A Love Misgiven

I was about to marry my boyfriend of seven years, Edward Carter. However, he was secretly getting a marriage certificate with his first love. In a moment of panic and disbelief, I confronted him: "Edward, what do I even mean to you?" Edward grabbed me as I tried to walk away, his eyes filled with helplessness: "Jennifer, you know Chloe is my first love. She only has two months left to live. I just don't want her to leave with regrets." "The woman who will be my last wife, though, is you." It was laughable. He felt sorry for his first love—did that mean I had to suffer? I saw the mocking look Chloe Smith shot my way. Then, to make things worse, Edward actually suggested I let Chloe take my place in the wedding. That was the last straw. After seven years of love, I did not want it anymore. I called my brother, "Hey, the wedding is in ten days. Can you find me a new groom?"
