I took a deep breath to calm myself down. "Can you get Eva's sandwich to the living room. She's up." I yelled again. "Okay." She replied back and I heard clattering in the kitchen. I turned to Eva to see her looking at me intently. "Uhmm....would you like to watch something?" I asked. "Sponge bob!" She yelled almost instantly. "Sponge bob it is then." I said and turned to open the t.v. Sponge bob's opening song played and Eva's face lit up happily. She started bobbing her head to the song and murmur whatever she knows from the song. I just sat next to her on the couch and watched her in amusement.

Her cries eventually died down, and Pierce followed them with sweet pecks on her lips. “Pierce?” “Hmm?” “Mark your calendar. Next Saturday, it’s on and popping.” “Why next Saturday?” Pierce curiously asked. “We’re going to the coast. Don’t you remember?” “I completely forgot about that with everything that happened since Bingo Night. Are you sure you’re ready?” “I’m SpongeBob ready,” Arianna answered. “You lost me. I don’t know what that means.” “You know how Spongebob says-” “No, I don’t know what SpongeBob says. I don’t have any kids. So, there’s no reason for me to be watching SpongeBob.”

Dustin ran into my arms, oblivious to the tension between Amber and I. I could see her debating whether to approach me or not. She made her choice when she remained seated and only flashed me the fakest smile I'd ever seen. I turned my attention to Dustin who was chatting away about some cartoon. “...and I like everyone but SpongeBob, Patrick and Mr. Krabs. Mommy says she feels bad for Squidward because he just wants a peaceful life. She's right…” I zoned out and just kept nodding. Gently dropping him to the ground, I took a seat next to Amber who immediately stiffened, but it was only for a brief second.

He warned. “Well, SpongeBob isn't waking up at this time, because he pulled a late night." His scowl got even deeper and he sharply put his head back on my shoulder, mumbling some things I didn't understand. I laughed it off. “C'mon, time for breakfast. I made Mr Smiley Egg-face." I placed him on his chair, and his scowl was replace with a smile when he looked at his plate. He dove right in, eating really enthusiastically. As I watched him eat, my heart was really filled with joy and I couldn't help but let out a smile of my own.

"I didn't know she went shit crazy." Suddenly Racheal jumped away from me, her previous misery forgotten. I watched as she ran to the corner of the room where there was a small table. She picked up the large yellow sponge hugging it delicately. "My gosh Sponge-Bob, why are you naked?" The curiosity was so real that everyone was clutching their stomachs as they went to into a laughing fit. Softly chuckling I went near her, trying to pull the sponge away but she clutched it and glared at me. "He's naked, don't look!"

Finally. Johnny, the little rascal, took the chance and curled like a puppy by my side. I shook my head but let him. It was barely past noon and we were having a SpongeBob marathon. Maybe it was my way of bribing him for the past few days, maybe it wasn’t.

Do you like Spongebob or Barney? I know nothing about any of that. Ok maybe I know just a little bit about it, but it's not something I'd like to address with anyone. I don't even know why Leonardo asked me to have breakfast with his daughter. Ok, maybe I know why. He's not in the mood, especially after his breakdown last night. The second we arrived home, he started drowning himself in his sorrows and drank bottle after bottle, smoked drug after drug and consumed pill after pill to escape whatever was in his mind.

I moved aside and let him in, then I closed the door and led him to the living room. He took of his hoodie, " Can I dry this off?" He asked. I won't lie, I thought he wasn't wearing anything under but thank God he was. I collected it from him and went to put it in the dryer, then I came back to the living room. Reece was already sitting and watching SpongeBob, " Hypocrite" I mumbled to myself, "I'm sure you have something to say or did you actually come to watch SpongeBob with me?" I asked. He scoffed, " Of course I didn't come to watch this...thing" he said and got all serious.

"Um....kid, what's your name?" "Patrick." "Hi, Patrick. Where's SpongeBob?" I joked, but the kid doesn’t seem to get it. Patrick just tilted his head to the side. "Never mind. My name is Hailey. Nice to meet you, Patrick." He didn't say anything. Well this is awkward. "So um.....tell me, Patrick. What are you doing in this building? Are you lost?" He nodded. "Do you...or do you know someone here that I could take you to?"
