S.A.S.

S.A.S.

A ghost pipeline for a ghost drug. The buyer? Unknown. The price? Blood. “Approaching LZ,” the pilot said. The chopper sank lower, hugging the planet’s skin. They skimmed past a black rock outcropping shaped like a talon carving at the stars. A brief flicker of infrared blinked twice from the darkness below—their drop zone—and then was swallowed by the night. “Go,” Jack ordered.

Lost in Time

Lost in Time

I can just gander at them from far off and couldn’t help but to recall how this scene was extremely recognizable to me. I perceived how Miracle soul isolated from her body and when our eyes met, I saw her disarray, perhaps like any other souls I come across, she wondered who I am—a question I’ve been pondering for so long yet I was unable to gather the right answer. The only fact I know is that I am not a mermaid but with only a simple touch, I can make someone forget about me. I am not a time traveler, but I am very prone to waking up to other people’s bodies, to a different scenario, to a different timeline.

World of Tomorrow

World of Tomorrow

“Whatever happens, we’ll have each other.” “Through thick and thin,” Lily agreed. “Leave those for now. Let’s eat while dinner’s still hot.” Refilling their coffee while Lily dished them plates, Evelyn groaned. "What are we going to listen to tonight? I miss Alias Jimmy Valentine." "Here." Rifling in the utensil drawer, Lily handed Evelyn a fork. "Grab a plate. Howie Wing is still on." Leading the way into the living room, she added, "And there's a couple of new radio shows that debuted last month. Nothing that stands out though. I think you're right. I miss Alias Jimmy Valentine too."

I've barely been able to put this story down. I absolutely love it. I love how descriptive the story is. And it has made me want to have been able to go to that World's Fair. It is a beautiful love story and I can't wait to finish it.

I am only to Chapter 22, but this book is Amazing so far and by far my favorite. I love historical fiction and this piece is a gem. I read the Author's book about Grace and Juliet and just had to jump right into this one as some characters are the same.

Sphinx

Sphinx

“My sons must feel at ease since they haven’t heard from me for a while now. How wrong they are,”. The driver park’s in front of the 3-storey building. Dracula and Alex step out of the car. “Alex, do you know why the sphinxes have strong psychic reservoirs?” he asks the tall redhead. “No, my lord” she answers. “They inherited it from the Nephilim. They think everything is okay and they can recuperate,” Dracula giggles. “They should know better,”. He stops at the doorway; he turns around and looks far into the air.

MY EX IS PREGNANT FOR ME

MY EX IS PREGNANT FOR ME

And far away, beneath the ruins of the Spire, a pulse flickered through the grid — a spark of blue light jumping from one dark screen to another, whispering a name through the digital void. > “Firstborn.” The Signal had returned.

The Obsidian Covenant #1: The Rejected Mate's Ruin

Wolfy said. He pointed to the screen. "When you reversed the flow... when you pushed the Void into the machine... you didn't just break it. You infected it." Cold sweat broke out on my neck. My stomach dropped—a sudden, sickening lurch of gravity. "The Spire isn't just damaged," Wolfy whispered. The sound of his voice was a dry rasp. "It is a bomb. And the timer is ticking down." He looked at me. The question was a heavy pressure in the hot desert air.

The Abandoned Luna's Return

The Abandoned Luna's Return

It was a massive, obsidian spire that reached into the clouds, pulsing with the golden light of the "Ascension." As we approached, the air grew thin, the "Siphon" already starting to draw the breath out of our lungs. "Subject 01... you are persistent," a voice boomed from the spire. It wasn't a speaker. It was a "Holographic Projection" of Vivian Vance, her image three hundred feet tall, towering over the ruins like a goddess. "Mother," I said, my voice amplified by the drones. "The 'Default' is cancelled. I’m here to 'Audit' the accounts."

Star Dust

Star Dust

This wasn’t planned by the people who knew when there were going to be meteorite showers. He watched as it seemed to be forming some sort of pattern over and over though he didn’t know what it was. He pulled out his phone and recorded it for a few minutes until he saw it was repeating again. He looked down at her. “Are they sending a message?” She asked as she looked at him, confused. “That has repeated a few times over, and it is slightly weird. It came out of nowhere and only when we.” Her voice trailed off for a little bit. She was lost in watching the trails of light in the sky. They all seemed to be going crazy, and they were all so bright and vivid as well. It was almost like a dream
