He just built, his little hands shaking slightly. Lyra, ever the explorer, headed for the water table. She began splashing, her laughter muffled by the glass. Elara, however, did something unexpected. She didn't go for a toy. She walked to the center of the room and sat down, her eyes fixed on Headmistress Sterling. She just watched her. “Leo is so advanced for his age,” Chloe whispered, her eyes glued to her son. “His spatial awareness is in the 99th percentile. The Miller men have always been engineers.”

The spiral did not end in a vista. It merely re-curled on itself. Elira gained the top and gazed downward—not at height, but depth. The journey was the destination. To climb without requiring a rise. Caelan followed her to the top, a little winded. "No peak," he commented.

It was made of stone and wood, with vines climbing the walls. A soft light shone from inside.

Maya loosened her hold on me and rushed to Eloras side. “Nothing of that matters right now. The main thing is, are you ok?” Maya exclaimed, stroking Eloras cheek with such concern in her big wide eyes. Elora smiled and gave a slight nod whilst trying not to wince at the same time. It was not a very convincing act. Even I could see that she was in a lot of pain. “Elora, do you know who I am?” I stepped forwards and she stared at me, confused. “You are the next in line alpha of the pack. George.” She answered.

"You cannot hope to stand against me." From the depths of the shadows, wraith-like creatures emerged, their ethereal forms insubstantial yet terrifying. Their shrieks filled the air, sending shivers down Lyra's spine. She knew Arthur's dark magic posed a great threat not just to her, but to her friends who had joined her in this fight. "Lyra, we're with you!" cried Elara, her eyes glowing golden like sunbeams. She was an exceptional healer, her touch capable of mending wounds and soothing pain. In the midst of battle, her skills would prove invaluable to the team.
