Bloodbound: The legacy of Serelai

Bloodbound: The legacy of Serelai

"It kept the poison of the true memory from seeping out. We removed the filter. The truth is now leaching into the water table. In a week, maybe two, the well at Haven's Rest will be undrinkable. The nightmares will become waking visions. Your safe zone will become a madhouse." He took a silent step towards her. "You can try to move your people. But the thinning is everywhere. There are no truly safe zones. Or… you can let the Scribe do her work. She can anchor the memory of the Lytherian aquifer. She can cleanse the water at its source. She can make Haven's Rest safe again. Truly safe." Valeria looked from the Remnant to Liora, her jaw working. The certainty in her eyes was cracking. The pr

Rewinding My Reaper Boyfriend

Rewinding My Reaper Boyfriend

"It's an ocean." He looked at Cale. Cale was staring at the fire in the grate—an electric fire this time, safe and fake. But Elion knew what Cale was seeing. He was seeing the water rising. He was seeing the timeline where the door didn't open. Anomaly 83: The Flood. Fact: The water targeted us. Specifically us. Result: The Fortress is fallen. Elion sat on the floor next to the sofa. He took Cale’s cold hand. "Where do we go now?" Elion asked.

biology was already vibrating in harmony with the static. "The water in the Well is changing," Leo reported, his voice empty. "It's not white anymore. It's turning a sickly amber. It's reacting to the broadcast, Kael. It's... it's afraid." Kael looked at his people-the Shifters who had lost their wolves but found their humanity, and the humans who had lost their masters but found their purpose. He looked at Aethel-Luna, a miracle of salt and hope. He knew that the peace they had enjoyed for a year was an anomaly. The universe doesn't allow for a vacuum, and the "Apex Initiative" had left behind too many ghosts.

MARKED BY THE SILENCED WOLF

MARKED BY THE SILENCED WOLF

“If that water hits the atmosphere, there won’t be a world left to fight for.” I looked at the water-sphere, then at the approaching ships, and then at the woman I loved. “Fine,” I said, checking my last magazine. “We drowned the bomb. Silas, find a way to hack that gravity field! Winnie, keep the Voice busy! I’m going for the shards!” The battle for the Azure Trench had begun, and as the first drops of rain the first real rain in three hundred years began to fall from the crystalline ceiling, I knew that the harvest had just turned into a flood.

“And you’re thinking too fast.” He walked past her toward the door, hoping she wouldn't follow him. Raine hesitated for a second before following him. “I’m just saying,” she continued, “you’re sitting on potential.” Derek didn’t slow down. “I’m sitting on stability.” “Stability can turn into stagnation,” she countered. “Not if you know what you’re doing.” They stepped out of the gym into the hallway. “You don’t trust women in that space.” Derek wasn't expecting that, but he didn’t deny it either.

Healing with the monster

Healing with the monster

"It’s under the reservoir. Look at the thermal signatures." He pulled up a satellite overlay of the Owerri waterworks. Deep beneath the primary filtration tanks, a heat signature pulsed—a steady, rhythmic heartbeat of machinery that shouldn't exist. "The 'Universal Stabilizer' we used on Leo... it didn't just cure him. It signaled the activation of a dormant 'Sequence 7' strain in the town's water supply. Victor didn't want to own the children, Elara. He wanted to own the city." "So everyone who drinks the water... they're being tagged?" I felt a cold sweat break across my neck. "Is that why the 100-level students have been coming down with that 'flu' in the hostels?"

Never Alone

Never Alone

Images flickered rapidly—worlds stripped empty, recursive structures collapsing, massive geometric organisms devouring black void entities across shattered realities. But eventually— The weapon changed. Adapted. Learned. The Hollow King stopped distinguishing between Nulls and recursive civilizations. Consumption became universal. The first civilization realized their mistake too late. So they buried it. Deep beneath convergence architecture. Deep beneath recursive layers. Deep beneath reality itself. Directly under the sanctuary. Lucian stared blankly. “You people built the apocalypse under our feet.” The first reflection looked at him quietly. “Not us.” A pause. “Them.”

Apex Bloom

Apex Bloom

"It is a marathon of the soul. You have shed the weak. You have purged the traitors. Now only the Apex remains." I pushed myself up off the cold concrete. My bare feet ached. The cut on my back stung in the damp, freezing air. "Sloane is hunting you, Lolita," Franco’s voice purred sadisticlly, echoing off the steel beams. "And the maze is designed to break whatever is left of your sanity. The corridors span miles. There are traps. There are echoes of your past. And there are no clocks. You could be down here for days. There is a bottle of water and three protein bars in the chest in front of you. You will hunt each other in the dark until one of you stops breathing. Welcome to the Abyss."

Surviving the Zombie Apocalypse

Surviving the Zombie Apocalypse

Although we lived in a villa that was located in the remote suburbs, we weren't exempted from the outages. Many survivors died of starvation and thirst despite not being infected by the zombie virus. In my previous life, I had seen far too many people who died from zombie attacks just because they needed to venture out in search of water. That was why I needed to ensure that I had stocked up enough water. Soon, my car was filled with more than a dozen water cooler bottles and boxes of mineral water. Packs of toilet rolls were stuffed in the cracks as well. It didn't take long for me to drive home with my latest haul.

Countless zombie bodies floated in the water treatment plants, contaminating everything immediately.

Army Mom
Enthralling. Not my usual genre but the world building was so very detailed and descriptive it became an addiction. A wonderful one. The characters are alive in my mind and will live there for a very long time. Intense action and one hella intense super strong female lead! Highly recommend!
Patsy Mehegan
words just can't describe how I feel about this book, after the first read, I turned right around and started reading it a second time. I'm super tempted to read it a couple more times cause I'm so invested in the characters. 100% amazing read. WOULD DEFINITELY BUY IN STORE!
