Star Wars Old Republic Kira Novels & Stories

She groaned and stepped back, dropping her staff. "Not bad," she said, putting the stick down. "At least you have potential.” She paused, after staring at me again, she continued, "You can stay. I’m Kira. I left my pack because my mate was a monster. I killed him before I left, and I’m not interested in ever going back." "I’m not going back either," I said.

They culled the corrupt, the cruel, the alphas who turned their power into tyranny. "Your mother left to escape an arranged mating," Kira tells me as we stand on a cliff edge, the wind howling around us. "She wanted freedom. She found your father. She chose love over duty." "And paid for it," I whisper. Kira's hand finds my shoulder. "She gave you a gift, Laney. A choice she never had. You can be what she couldn't. You can protect what matters." I think of Sirus. His wide amber eyes. His innocent smile.

She answered with a serious face. Kiara chuckled. "He can't rip out your heart." "Why do you say so?" Kira asked. "You are mated to his kind, have you forgotten who you are? You Keira, is the mate to the emperor’s personal bodyguard." She reminded her. Kira managed to smile. "I hope he thinks the same way. Please go ahead to the living area and watch TV while I get busy in the kitchen." She said. Kiara would have loved to help her out in the kitchen but she was tired. she has never talked this much in her life like she did today! She strode towards the living area where she met Samson and Lawson still standing defensively at the entrance.

“She chose you, son.” Before anyone could speak again, a voice came from the doorway. “That’s because he was always meant to be part of this.” We turned. Kira stood there, framed in the soft glow of the hall lights, long silver hair braided over one shoulder, eyes glowing faintly with power. She looked older, wiser, and more ethereal than I remembered. “Mara,” she said, nodding to her. “You kept your promise. You brought them together.” Mara’s voice trembled. “I told you I would, when the signs returned.”

He said Kira wanted to laugh loudly, but she chided herself instead. “it's just never easy to forget the ones who matter to you.” “So I guess you would be saddled with the duties of the pack soon as the Luna.” Declan said out of the blue. Kira didn't let it surprise her, “yes, of course. I guess I am of age to take my father's place. Now, I would need a compassionate and supportive partner next to me as the Alpha. I hope you are ready for that.” She mocked, maintaining a serious face.

“Wow. Is this the first time I’m hearing you throw a joke?” Kira leaned forward. “Orion can be funny. You just haven’t seen that side yet.” I didn’t reply. I just took another sip of wine. “Kate,” I said, turning to her, “Keto will start training you. Immediately.” Keto nodded. “Got it.” “She only uses her guns,” Kira added. “She can’t shift.” Kate didn’t say anything. She just sipped her water, eyes on the fire. Then Ravenna turned to me. “Can I ask something?”

Rebecca half yelled, “You don’t even know what these people want and you think coming out is the best idea?” Kira pushed the guy’s hand away from hers, and her gaze darkened as she stared at him. “Let this be the first and last time you stop me from doing anything.” “I’m sorry.” He apologized. Rebecca scoffed silently. From what was going on, she could tell the guy respected Kira a lot. Kira picked one of the earbuds in the dashboard, connected it and placed it in her ear. She made sure the guy did same. “Wait for my signal.” She told them before getting down from the car.

So they all just stand there, watching Saga gather his belongings before he open the door and left. Kira was serving a seven years old girl who were entering the shop with her mother when her phone wouldn't stop ringing. Mrs. Russo who was standing beside her at that time gesture her that she should go answer it since Kira barely got a call when she's working. She gave Mrs. Russo a smile then head to the back. She got three calls from Reena and a text saying that she should call her back as soon as possible. And so she did. She didn't even get to the second ring and Reena voice was already on the other side of the line, "Oh, Kira," she sounded out of breath, "Kira, thank God."

“You think he loves you,” Kara's familiar voice startled Aria as she shut her door. She turned around to see Kira staring at her like a predator sizing up its prey. “How did you get in here?” “You think all this is going to work because the elders haven't said anything yet.” She continued, ignoring Aria's question. “They're going to turn their backs on you before you know what is going on.” Aria swallowed hard as Kira started moving towards her. “I am the rightful Luna. I have been here before you. I know him more than you do and I am a Beta wolf. I heard you barely survived school.” She stopped and gave a smirk.

“No, not yet. Though I’ve spent my spare time in Narok's presence, trying to hear any updates about Crimson Tide, nothing much has come so far.” "We have news from the field!" Narok suddenly called out to me as a woman walked into the den. Her eyes were sharp and focused as she scanned the room. "I’m Kira,” she introduced, shaking my hand. “A navigator in the field. I have been hired by Sir Narok to help with the daily information stream management." Narok nodded. "Indeed, Kira. Your expertise in this area will be greatly appreciated. The daily information stream is crucial to the safety and security of our pack and I need someone reliable and trustworthy to oversee it."
